PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Management

·         Managed the successful upgrade of KGH’s Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP v3.1i to v4.6c) used in all Procurement, Human Resources and Financial Management processes of a 170 million dollar annual operating plan.

·         Managed the implementation of several enterprise wide system and process improvement initiatives, including: a network roll out encompassing just under 300 PCs, a roll out of Corel’s WordPerfect suite of applications, a conversion to the Microsoft Office Suite, a roll out of email and scheduling, a roll out of the GRASP MIStro workload measurement system to about 1,100 staff, a roll out of TCT’s Staff Scheduling software ESP/eXpert to schedule about 1,000 staff.

·         Most recently managed a highly effective and productive customer oriented team focused on resource management processes and systems.

Development

·         Designed, developed, implemented and deployed an Information Portal to assist in the management of a portfolio with a 110 million dollar annual operating plan through effective combination and probability projection of Financial Information in SAP and Activity Information in various Patient Care Systems.

·         Designed, developed, implemented and deployed a system that facilitates the creation and maintenance of a rolling twelve-month financial and activity projection for a budget in excess of $110 million annually.

·         Designed and specified a workload measurement system called AWARE (Automated Workload Analysis and Reporting for Executives) for a Toronto based staffing analysis consulting firm.

·         Designed and coded the download sub-routines for the provincial smart card, health card initiative.

·         Designed and developed a number of database applications, including:  tracking of patient activity for inpatient, outpatient and surgical suite areas; tracking unusual occurrences, risk management and medical legal cases; tracking accreditation and medical staff privileges; attributes and attendance of the Board of Directors and Trustees.

·         Designed and coded a workflow component for a charting package called Easyflow.
