I play this song in open D tuning (like so many other songs of Bruce),
that is (from low to high) D-A-D-F#-A-D. It's really simple that way,
and he plays in D open too. Just watch the DVD and you will recognize
the positions.

I use this pattern with the song. Please copy-paste this to your
notepad (courier font!) or somewhere, because it's a real pain in the
ass trying to align the notes in this font. Sorry for that.

First, tune your guitar to D open. Then put capo on third fret. The
song is written in the key of F.

For the I chord (F, D without capo) I play (repeating) this pattern:

For the V chord (C, A without capo) try this:

Listen to the recording and you will figure out the tempo. First two
notes are slow, the following four are faster, then two slow again,
four fast, etc. This positions are really simple and they sound nice
too. Try it out!
