In Loving Memory of
Jason Lancing Kelley

WE'LL MEET AGAIN

They say you will not come again,
But I shall always hear
Your voice in silence and in song,
And feel you ever near.

They say you have passed beyond,
Unto the joy supreme.
But I can always call you back
Into the land of dream.

For death is but a gateway
To the great reality,
A new beginning, not an end
Of human destiny.

For love is all, and life goes on
In spite of grief and pain,
And deep within my heart I know
That we shall meet again.

Jason with his mom on his first birthday.

Jason with his pals on his first birthday.

Jason was born in Calif. He was 8lbs 6 ozs. I knew from the very moment
I laid eyes on him that he was God's most precious gift to me!

This is a beautiful gift from my dear friend Carol, mom to Angel Michael.

In Memory of You

I find an old photograph
and see your smile.
As I feel your presence anew,
I am filled with warmth
and my heart remembers love.

I read an old card sent many years ago
during a time of turmoil and confusion.
The soothing words written then,
still caress my spirit and bring me peace.

I remember who you used to be,
the laughter and love we shared.
I wonder what you have become,
Where are you now, Where did you go,
When the body is left behind
and the spirit is released to fly?

Perhaps you are the morning bird
singing joyfully at sunrise,
or the butterfly that dances
so carelessly on the breeze
or the rainbow of colors
that brightens a stormy sky
or the fingers of afternoon mist
delicately reaching over the mountains
or the final few rays of the setting sun
lighting up the skies
edging the clouds with a magical glow.

I miss your being
but I feel your presence.

Your spirit has become for me
a guardian angel on high, guiding,
advising, and watching over me.

You are with me.
Loving you always
Mom

On the left, Jason with his precious drums. And it made me so proud
to see my boy out there drumming those drums at the football games!!
The photo on the right is my boy and I after a game.

Both of the photos just above are from Jason's 4th birthday.

I have not turned my back on you,
So there is no need to cry.
I'm watching you from heaven,
Just beyond the morning sky.
I've seen you almost fall apart,
When you could barely stand.
I ask the Lord to comfort you,
And watch him take your hand.
He told me you are in more pain,
Than I could ever be.
He wiped his eyes and swallowed hard,
Then gave your hand to me.
Although you may not feel my touch,
Or see me by your side,
I've whispered that I love you,
While I wiped each tear you cried.
So please try not to ache for me,
We'll meet again one day.
Beyond the dark and stormy sky,
A rainbow lights the way.

Remember Me

Remember me in quiet days
While raindrops whisper on your pane.
But in your memories have no grief,
Let just the joy we knew remain.

Remember me when evening stars
Look down on you with steadfast eyes.
Remember if once you wake
To catch a glimpse of red sunrise.

And when your thoughts do turn to me,
Know that I would not have you cry.
But live for me and laugh for me,
When you are happy, so am I.

Remember an old joke we shared;
Remember me when spring walks by.
Think once of me when you are glad
And while you live, I shall not die.

My body is gone but I'm always near
I'm everything you feel, see or hear
My spirit is free, but I'll never depart
As long as you keep me alive in your heart

To Kay and ANGEL JAY

The pain I feel
It is always a tug
I have to believe it's you
Giving me that special hug

Yes Mom it is me believe it
Giving you that special touch
Although you can't see or hear me
I want you to know I still love you VERY MUCH

And when GOD calls you home
Again Mom we will be together
I can't wait, I know you can't
Then and only then it will be FOREVER

Make yourself familiar with the angels,
and behold them frequently in spirit;
for without being seen, they are present with you.
