ANSALDO - FIAT L3/33 RADIO

The Ansaldo Light tank L3/33R was a special version of the L3/33 with radio equipments. It was used also as command tank.The picture shows the 3D model of an L3/33R (2nd version , w/semicircular antenna) of LXI (64°) Battaglione Carri L, seen in North Africa during 1941. The model is highly detailed with more than 95.000 faces. Note the three colours procedural camouflage, the weathering and the detailing of the tracks.

L3/33 (2nd version)"Radio" armed with a 20mm German anti-tank rifle type SOLOTHURN S8/1000. Just a little quantity of these "heavy" armed tank were modified by the units workshops using the old supports for the single FIAT 14 MG. The tank is of the commander of the LXI Battaglione Carri L, Bardia, Lybia, Jan.1941.
