LOYALTY
PLEDGE
by Elbert Hubbard
If you work for a man in heavens name, work
for him, speak well of him, stand by the institution
by which he represents. Remember that an ounce of
loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness. If you must
growl or eternally find fault, why resign your
position. And when youre on the outside, damn
to your hearts content. But as long as you are
a part of this institution, do not condemn it. For if
you do, the first high wind will blow you away and
probably youll never know why!
All or none, once youre a part, stand by the
principles and ideals of the institution; for better
or for worse, a brod is still a brod, never turn your
back on him, and never put him to shame.
UNITY
I am one but I am only one
I can not do everything but I can do something
What I can I ought to do, by the grace of God I
will do it
No one single individual, no matter how brilliant
he is can stand alone.
No man is an island
Cooperation is the key to life.
