Soil and ground water clean-up

Soil and ground water was contaminated by Diesel oil oil originated from
a single wall underground storage
tank near a bus station in East-Hungary. Tank was removed, contamination
was delineated.
Soil is being remediated by special microbiological method - "biopad in
the pit". Ground water is being
cleaned-up by "pump and treat" method using 4 production and 4 monitoring
wells and active carbon filters.
