My Hiking Diary pre 2003Ever since I came to Manchester in 1996 I have pursued my interest in hiking, primarily with the University hiking club. I have enjoyed many walks with them over the four years I studied there, and since then while I have started work I still go along although not as a student anymore.
I regularly lead the day hikes which could be of any length or height. Most of these walks in the last few years are recorded in my hiking diary. It starts in 1999 because that is as far back as I could remember. In addition to those with the hiking club I also walk on my own and for HF Holidays, a holiday organisation based in Cumbria. These walks can also be found within the diary.
I have recently started to take photos of the areas I have been to, within each walk description there are photos of the day if I took any. There are also photos that have a loose connection to hiking (normally something to do with the university club) below under the relevant link
