Taco Stew

ingredients

2 lbs. stew meat or ground meat (beef, turkey or pork)
1 onion chopped
2 cans hominy
2 cans pinto beans
2 cans Rotel tomatoes

1 package Taco Seasoning
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups water

directions

In a large pot over medium high heat, combine the ground beef and onion and sauté for 5 to 10 minutes, or until meat is browned and onion is tender; drain excess fat. 

Next, stir in the hominy, beans, tomatoes, taco seasoning, broth and water. Mix well, reduce heat to medium and allow to heat through, about 15 minutes.
