It all started this summer.  I had been doing some customizing to my current bike when I found that there was so much more I wanted to do.  So much more that it would have involved a complete tear down which I was not about to do in the middle of the riding season.  To do what I wanted required a new beginning.  A new beginning that would end up becoming a question of my sanity.  Enter my brother who had in his posession an old 1977 CB 750 four.  It ran he thought.  See it was given to him since it was only taking up space.  A scary offering to the choppergods it was.  This is the item questioning my sanity.  Have I crossed that thin line between genius and madness?
As one might expect by looking at these pictures, that there was a lot of work ahead of me.  The seat, tank, and handlebars were  going to be the first to go anyway, but  as you can see there wasnt much there to begin with.
Mice had gotten into ALL of the wiring and plug wires.  There was old skunky gas in the tank at least 2 years old.  But it had compression when I kicked it over.  What if I tried to turn her over?  I hooked up a battery and it popped off on the 2nd kick.  Ran like shit on the old gas, (and on 3 cylinders as i noticed later..1 plug boot came off!), but it ran for about 10 minutes before the mouse-chewed wiring gave out.
Knowing that it ran gave me the go ahead to tear her apart......Never to be the same again!!!
