I was going to introduce myself to Charlie and Mattie but they were surrounded by excited girls. While I was waiting I heard the Saturday Show mentioned and realised the boys were at the airport to fly up to Glasgow for the show! Unfortunately, by the time the path was clear, their tour manager was shouting at them to get a move on. So I quickly made my way over to James and said hi. I congratulated him on their fab new single 'you said no' and told him it had recently become a fave of mine due to the #na na na naaa# bit! He laughed and I asked if it would be possible for me to have a quick photo with him before he had to rush off. The tour manager was calling him but he quickly posed for a photo with me before dashing off to join the others.
After Busted had gone I realised that their would be other acts flying up to the Saturday Show that day and if I remembered correctly, my old friend and former steps star Lisa Scott-Lee would be appearing on the show! I could hardly contain my excitement! Our flight wasnt due for a while yet and what better way to amuse myself then by meeting some of my fave popstars?!
Sure enough I soon saw a familar figure wheeling a suitcase through the crowds. It was Lisa! I called after her and she turned round and looked delighted to see me!
I told her how much I liked her debut solo single 'Lately' and that I was looking forward to seeing the video for it and she said how much she was looking forward to all the promo for it! I said I was excited about it as well and hoped to turn up at a few things such as cduk but explained I was off on holiday now and hoped she would be on it after I go back! She assured me she would be so I told her I would see her then, wished her luck for the Saturday Show and waved her off! |
