SO WHAT'S NEW IN JUDAICS
THIS WEEK??
Parashat Hashavua:  Va-yetze
The adventures of Yaakov begin as he leaves his parents' home and returns to Haran to escape the wrath of Esau and to find a wife.  With the birth of his children, we witness the birth of our people.
This week in Kittah Gimmel...
1-We have been studying "Take 2" of Breishit-the Garden of Eden.  We are comparing the similarities and differences between the two "takes" on creation.  We are also gleaning the important lessons of both, and, based on our Chumash standard, we are finding the ways in which the world changed when God communicated.  ?Boy, were there changes!!  Just ask your children!
2-We are studying about Chanukah-history, halachot (laws) and customs.  We should be pros by the time the 25th of Kislev rolls around!
3-Of course, we are continuing to prepare our Chumash presentation for Wednesday,
December 17.  Can't wait to see you all there!
