June 21st, 2006 - 11:00am. Join us for a "Moms Meeting" and play group at the Burgess Kimball Memorial Park, (click for directions) in Milton. Stop by for this informal discussion on creative play ideas for our childnren. Bring a packed lunch to enjoy under the covered pavilion as the older children play in the fenced in play area, and Moms enjoy some good conversation. |

August 5th 2006 - Join us as we celebrate World Breastfeeding Week. Check back for details on our fundraising event. Join us for a fun, family friendly day to raise money for La Leche League in our community and around the world. Events will include a slient auction with goods from many local retailers, children's games and crafts, a BBQ lunch and a mouth watering bake sale. All procceds will be used to help and promote breastfeeding in our own community as well as through out the world.
World Breastfeeding Week celebrates the signing of the Innocenti Declaration on the Protection, Promotion, and Support of Breastfeeding. It is celebrated in 120 countries through out the world.
