REVIEW
Bringing Down the House
"Hailarious!"
Steve Martin, a tax attonrey, sets up a blind internet with a lawyer he met on a law chat room. But as he soon finds out when she comes to his door she's really just gotten out of prison and he later finds out that she needs some advice on getting her record cleared. For the time, his 10 year old son and 14 year old daughter are spending the week. Queen Latifah bugs him and follows him until he gives in. The neighbor across the street, played by Betty White, is a seemingly racist character, but very funny.
Steve Martin has to also get the account of a millionaire British lady (and her dog William Shakespeare) She also makes some comments that make Queen Latifah mad with humorous results. Steve Martins Ex-Wife's sister is also a pest and gets Queen Latifah mad. A very fine fight scene. Eugene Levy plays a Steve Martins friend and is trying to get hooked up with Queen Latifah.. Steve Martin acting black is very funny. Many plot twists.
A very good movie. Solid acting and funny lines. Unusual situations and other things makes this one not to miss.
