About Mr. Scooter
I'm back after... almost a month. So here's the most significant stuff and recent stuff of the month of news. Starting with most recent.
-Ice Cube is replacing Vin Diesel in XXX2. Lee Tomahria is taking the directing spot from the original director, and it'll be basically a remake with differnet plot.
-Barbershop 2 teaser is on www.barbershop2.com
-Alex Borensteina and Michael Massee are joining Halle Berry in Catwoman.
-Renee Zellweger is gaining weight for Bridget Jone's Diary 2.
-Ridley Scott wants to do Aliens 5 but bringing it away from action and into its horror roots. Sigoney Weaver will return. With a one on one alien and end the series.
-The Farlley Brothers 3 Stooges Movie has been greenlit and will start filming next year for summer 2005 relesase. It'll bring them into the current times instead of taking place in 30's.
-Lance Henriksen joins Alien Vs Predetor as the Tycoon or something who is incharge of the expedition or whatever.
-The Captain America legal disputes have been settled so a movie shouldn't be too far off. Brad Pitt has long been attached.
-Underworld was planned out as a trilogy so the sequel will come and then a prequel.
-Christian Bale is BATMAN.

The new Batman movie info!
1- The title is 'Intimidation Game'.
2- Emma Thomas (Insomnia,Memento) is the producer.
3- Now in full pre-production at Shepperton studios.
4- Shooting starts shooting at the end of February 2004.
5- Shooting in Shepperton studios and on location in the U.K.
6- There is no Batman yet. Christian Bale would like to do it but he is also a candate for the next Bond.
-The cancelled fox show Firefly has a movie that has been greenlit. I wonder if anyone will actually go and see it. I didn't even like that show.
-Radio with Cuba Gooding has been brought up from November to October so there is now a change in my top 10 picks of October.
-McG has left Superman and it looks like the movie could be scrapped entirely. Status is all over the place.
-It appears the execs at Morgan Creek weren't the bad guys in firing the director of The Exorcist: The Beggining. The screenwriter set the record by saying Morgan Creek knew what the movie was and that is was a psycological drama thing. He thinks the director did a crappy job taking out many key lines and scenes. Creating an inferior movie. So basically the director sucked so they are trying to make it work with reshoots. The director said the studio wanted the gore and vomit to take the blame off himself when the studio knew it.
-Cold Creek Manor has been pushed back a week to the 19th.

-Topher Grace has signed for the 2004/2005 season of That 70's Show. (Eric)
-The Resident Evil Apacolypse trailer is said to be attached to Underworld.
-Freddy vs Michael Meyers is a possibility, where's Jason? I don't know. These are just rumors we'll wait for the official word, but these rumors are fun ;?)

-The writer for Indiana Jones 4 says filming starts next July. Filming will mostly be in the US.
-Nick Stahl says Terminator 4 is definately going ahead with or without Arnold. They are working on 2 scripts one with Arnold and one without.
-Antonio Banderas says Zorro 2 will be more of an adult movie not just a blockbuster action movie.
-XXX2 may be directed by Die Another Day massacurer, Lee Tomahria (sp). I really hated his style with that movie. The way he filmed it and overuse of awful CG effects making the $125 million movie look like a $45 million. This will only happen if Rob Cohen doesn't return. (He better!)
-Jessica Simpson is said to be playing the invisible girl in The Fantastic Four.
-Keira Knightly is as of now not up for the role in Bond 21.
-

-The movie Troy may have a name change to something like the Trojan War or something.
-Keira Knightly has signed for Jurrassic Park 4.
-She is also rumored to be James Bonds next (and Pierces' last)
-Tim Burtons Big Fish has moved from Novemeber to January.
-Comming next May 28th! Soul Plane! Think of Barbershop and Airplane. When a guy gets $600 million He opens African America Airlines. Snoop Dogg is the piolot and Tom Arnold and his family are put on the plane by mistake! Its crazy! Filming has already started

-Johnny Depp could sign for Willy Wonka any day now.
-The Freddy Prequel, due to the success of Freddy vs Jason could be greenlit soon!
-Ridley Scott says in an interview, he is involved with Gladiator 2. Maximus won't rise from the dead and it'll be released in 2005.
-Shrek 3 will take place with King Aurthur. They have a script and is ready to be greenlit when the time comes.
-Anthony Hopkins has left Superman. He was going to play Supermans dad Jo El, but he only would do it with Brett Ratner.
-The director of The Exorcist: The Beggining has been fired! The movie is already done but Morgan Creek hates it and won't pay for post production. The movie has no blood, gore, or vomiting which is what they wanted. It is more of a phsycological thriller. THey are hiring a new director to reshoot some scenes and add some gore. It is aiming for a Febuary release.

-A live action Curious George movie is on looking to do a September 2005 release. It'll be a CGI/live action.
-Oh Sister Where Art Thou by the guy who made Old School? Yup.
-Jackie Chan on TRL said Rush Hour 3 would be next year! Filming would need to start in the next 2 months.
-The Italian Job will be rereleased on Labor Day weekend.

-Revolution Studios is looking looking to do Daddy Day Care 2 called Daddy Day Camp. The first one got horrible reviews, but did good enought for a sequel.
-Due to Gigli, Kevin Smith will kill Jenifer Lopez's character off in Jersey Girl in the first 15 minute! He's editing her out of a lot of scenes!
-Michael Jackson is suing Dimension Films over his portrayal in the Scary Movie 3 trailer. Since the movie is a spoof, he probably won't win as if this were a drama or something. There's no word if the movie or trailer will be recut.
-Morgan Creek is shocked at what the final product of Exorcist: The Beggining. They were expecting vomiting and head turning, but there is none. Apparently someone forgot to read the script ;?)
-Peter Jackson is getting $20 million to direct King Kong.

-Freddy Vs Jason is 97 minutes (decent and above average time for either series but not the 113 minutes Wes Craven's New Nightmare was)
-Some reshoots that were done for Scary Movie 3 was the ending. It involved the Hulk and was too stupid it seems. It did not cause the postponment.
-Big Mommas House 2? Filmin maybe next year.
-The Rocky 6 script is just being polished up so its pretty much a go.
-Olivia Newton John says if Grease 3 has a good script she'll do it.
-There is a possibility of Freddy vs Jason vs Ash (from the Evil Dead) We'll see what happens with Freddy Vs Jason first. ;?)
-Another movie that's fate lyes in the hands of the sucess of Freddy Vs Jason as pointed out at the premeir of Freddy vs Jason, Robert Englund let out a major fact. There is a script going around New Line for the Nightmare on Elm Street Prequel. It is called, "Elm Street: The First Murders" That's all he said.
-The Lion Witch and the Wardrobe $100+ million movie is currently scouting locations.

I've returned with many updates!
-House of 1000 Corpses 2 will not be called that.
-Mario Kasser says Terminator 4 WILL happen with or without Arnold (but why)
-The Orange County Register will be used for a scene in Spiderman 2 with a headline that reads "Spiderman Unmasked"
-McG is doing Superman. Sets are already being built on the Warner Brothers soundstages.
-Mariah Carey is said to be doing the Bond 21 song. (Still a few years away)
-Marin Scorsess' The Aviator, which is filming, will be released in 2005. He's taking the extra time because Gangs of New York took so long to edit and stuff.
-Barbershop 2 is filming
-Dawn of the Dead with Ving Rhames is coming March 26.
-Elf is rated PG for mild rude humor and language.
-Ghostrider with Nicolas Cage will start filming mid 2004.l
-House of the Dead is rated R for Pervasive strong violence/gore, language, and some nudity.
-The Passion WILL have subtitles.
-Scary Movie 4 will be released next fall and Anna Farris may not return.
-The Son of the Mask (The Mask 2) with Jamie Kennedy is filming.
-Ripley's Game (the Talented Mr. Ripley 2) is going direct to video.
-The Bourne Supremacy is coming July 23, 2004. Filming starts later this year.
-Scary Movie 3 has moved from October 3 to the 24 because Jack Blacks School of Rock has gotten good reviews. They are also aiming for a PG-13!!!
-Johnny Depp says he'd like to be Ozzie in the biopic.
-Disney is looking into remaking Mary Poppins with.... Queen Latifah.
-Shrek 2 has moved to Memorial Day 2004 against Troy.
-The Ring 2 is aiming for a November 10, 2004.
-The Order with Heth Ledger is known in other counbtries as Sin Eater.

-The Ring 2 will start filming next year.

-Sigonrney Weaver or anyone else like Danny or Arnold will be in Aliens Vs Predetor.
-Anaconda 2:Black Orcid is now Anacondas. Like Aliens.
-Fantastic Four does not have a director and looking at December 24, 2004 release.
-Reports said Dawn of the Dead was going for a PG-13 but that was corrected and its going for an R.
-Martin Scorsesees Howard Hughs movie with Leo will be in limited release in Decemeber 2004 and wide released in the Spring of 2005.
-Rush Hour 3 is looking for a August 2005.
-Hellboy, based on the comic book is coming May 21.
-Disney's next summer animated movie is Home on the Range with the voices of Judi Dench and Cuba Gooding Jr. It already has a PG and its traditional cartoon.
-The Bourne Supremacy will take place in Berlin, Moscow, and India.
-Unrated version of Charlies Angels 2 DVD coming October 21.
-Paul Verhoven is working on doing a Robocop 4. Probably going to be a while till you hear more on this.
-THere will be no True Lies 2 says Jamie Lee Curtis, so Arnold says James Cameron is almost done reworking the script, but we'll see later on.

-A sequel or prequel to Gladiator is still seeming to be likely.
-House of the Dead has moved to October 10.
-The rumor back in May of the opener of Final Destination 3 has been announced by the producer. Its not set in stone yet, but this is what he'd like... A roller coaster crash!
-Barbershop 2 is coming some time in 2004, because filming started late and they couldn't get done by november.
-Rob Zombie talked about House of 1000 Corpses 2, which sounds more original than I thought! "Here’s what Rob and company let out of the bag: it will not be a rehash of the original where another group of young adults wind up stranded in psycho land. This time around, the main baddies from the original (Otis, Baby, Captain Spaulding Dr. Satan, etc...) will clash with another group of loonies. So it will be evil against evil. The sequel will give us more background info about the clan from the original flick and sport a stand-alone title with a “House of 1000 Corpses Part 2” moniker underneath it.
-Martin Scorses is working with Leo again for the Howard Hughs movie, the Aviatior, filming is starting and filled with big names
-Johnny Depp is now the front runner for Willy Wonka. Michael Keaton and Christopher Walken are also canidates.

Comic Con 2003 coverage coming soon!
-Scary Movie 3 trailer is on MSN and its hailarious.
-The new Cheech and Chong is moving ahead while they write the script
-Angelina Jolie has joined Oliver Stones Alexander the Great movie with Colin Farral as Alexander. There is still another waiting for the go. With Leo.
-Ben Affleck signed for a George Reeves bio pic. He was the ORIGINAL Superman from the tv show. Hugh Jackman was going to do it but had too full of schudel.
-Catwoman still has some legal problems but should still film this September.
-They are looking to remake Footloose for 2004.

-Scary Movie 4 is said to start filming at the beggining of August. Not sure if its for sure tho.
-Resident Evil: Apocalypse Oded Fehr and Sienna Guillory have joined the cast.

-Universal is making a Dawn of the Dead remake. Filming has already started.
-On July 25, the alternate ending for 28 Days Later will be put on at the end of the movies! (The alternate ending was the original that sucked, so they filmed the current one)
-House of the Dead has moved from September 12 to sometime at the end of the month.
-The Texas Chainsaw Massacure remake trailer is now available! It is terrifying!!
-Hildalgo has been pushed back from October to March against Starsky and Hutch

-Zorro 2 will start filming in Febuary. Antonio Banderas has agreed to return. There is no word yet on Catherine Zeta Jones and Anthony Hopkins.
-Kiera Knightly has talked to Steven Spielberg about Jurrassic Park 4 and she says she might be in it.

-Tara Reid joins Christian Slater in Alone In the Dark.
-Mel Gibsons The Passion "trailer" has arrived on the internet. It does not appear to be aproved for all audiences for Jesus is covered with blood and cuts in every shot. There is blood on the floor and a snake is steped on. Looks very intense. There may be some subtitles for it is entirely in dead languages.
-Orlando Bloom turned down the roll of Superman.
-Jurrasic Park 4 starts filming next year. Sam Neill is returning and its about a diesees that is washing dead dinosaurs to shore.
-Kill Bill by Quentin Tarintino will be 2 90 minute movies.
-Spiderman 2 has finished filming.

-Ice Age 2 is definately going ahead.
-The girl who played the girl in Carrie 2 has signed to play Claire Redfeild in Resident Evil: Apocalpse. This movie had Leon, Clare, Jill, Chris, Nemesis, and many others. This sequel is looking to be the movie I wanted the first one to be.
-American Idol will have at least 3 more seasons with Simon getting $150,000 per episode!!! He is also helping develp new projects for fox. He develped his on company SimCow.Ltd
-Nick Stahl is signed for 2 more Terminators. With the ending they gave, it may be a spinoff movie, Anold may be bad again (and they'll be a lot of them), or something else. Earliest is probably 2006.
-Ashton Kutcher is out as Batman.

-There will be no Lord of the Rings teaser this summer. They will have a full trailer in September.
-Troy is moving from Malta to Mexico for filming.
-Bad Boys 2 is 150 minutes long.
-Predetor 3 may show up after Alien Vs Predetor. Arnold says he'll be back.
-There is now word The Passion, the Mel Gibson's Jesus movie, will have subtitles.
-The True Lies 2 script is finished Arnold says. He's says he'll be back whenever filming starts. They had to rewrite it because of the big scene that takes place on an airplane..
- Gremlin 3 is wanted by Warner Brothers.

-The Phantom of the Opera is looking at a December 2004 release.
-MGM is trying to make a remake of Back to School with Rodney Dangerfeild in a cameo.

-Freddy Vs Jason is rated R for Pervasive Strong Horror Violence/gore, Gruesome images, sexuality, drug use, and language.
-Pirates of the Carribean is rated PG-13 for Action/violence.
-IF Freddy vs Jason does good, New Line may buy the rights to the Child's Play series for a 5th movie.
-Mel Gibson's movie,The Passion, the graphic retelloing of Jesus' last days has screened a trailer to a group of people who are saying it looks like a very emotional and movie movie.
-Orlando Bloom says he just finished some reshoots for ROTK and says that Peter Jackson wanted to add some more awsome stunts with Legolas.
-The Bourne Supremecy is filming next year.
-A biopic on 26-year-old rapper 50 Cent is being developed by The Sopranos writer Terry Winter. The film will chronicle 50 Cent's life from his impoverished upbringing in Queens, New York, to his emergence as an international rap superstar.
-Cat Woman, with Halle Berry is aiming for a July 30, 2004 release and filming starts in September.
-Arnold Schwarzenegger told Maxim that "TL2 will come along eventually: James Cameron just has to rewrite the script".

-Halloween 9 is officially aiming for a summer 2004. Filming will start soon.
-Resisdent Evil: Apacolyse will start filming in next month and will be more like the 3rd game. And the first was a prequel of sorts.
-King Kong by Peter Jackosn is will be released on December 14, 2005
-For some reason Ashton Kutcher is also a top runner to play Batman. He's up against Guy Pearce too.
-John Travolta is leaving Grease 3 because his agent said it would be a bad career move. So now the project is pretty much dead unless he his agent changes his mind.
-A guy from the set of Starsky and Hutch is saying the way Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller are acting, it appears Starsky and Hutch may be gay.

-Bill Moseley speaks on House of 1000 Corpses 2: It picks up where the last one left off, apparently its going to start with cops coming to the house, more cops like 20 cops. It always drove me a little nuts thinking 2 cops went in there without letting anyone know. Now we know that they asked for backup!
Some of them (The family) (Family is bad) get shot in some sort of shootout.
-Ruben Studered (American Idol 2) will have a cameo in Scooby Doo 2.
-Guy Pearce is being mentioned around as a Batman canidate
-Alien vs Predetor has a script! And filming to begin this November. Like Freddy vs Jason, the story of each character (alien and predetor) is slightly changed.
-Leo is working with Martin Scorcesse on a Howard Hughs movie. He's the guy who had the Spruce Goose built and famous movie guy back in 30's. Its called the Aviator.

-Texas Chainsaw Massacure remake has been moved forward from January to October 17. It also got an R rating for Strong horror violence/gore, language, and drug use.
-Filming for Mission Impossible 3 has been pushed back from August to January. Looking for a 2005 release or late 2004 release.
-There's word of National Lampoons Austrailan Vacation

-There are no plans for a unrated House of 1000 Corpses DVD.
-George Carlin joins cast of Scary Movie 3.
-The first hour of the Hulk will be a dark and emotional movie. Then he gets mad and the action starts for the 135 minutes movie.
-Catch Me if you Can...The Musical...
-The Friday the 13th DVD's are getting a special editions in 2004.
-The Matrix has been banned in Egypt It a statement, the committee said that "despite the high technology and fabulous effects of the movie, it explicitly handles the issue of existence and creation, which are related to the three divine religions, which we all respect and believe in."

-Terminator 3 is exactly 1 hour 48 minutes and 53 seconds.
-Adam Sandlers next movie will not be a typical Happy Gilmore, Bill Madison, Waterboy, or Mr. Deeds movie. It will be a more serious movie like his Punch Drunk Love movie. It will be kind of like Phone Booth but not really. It has Tom Cruise. Adam Sandler would play a taxi driver, hijacked by Cruise's killer-for-hire and forced to drive him to each of his hits. Michael Mann directing. He is filming 50 First Kisses with Drew Barrymore right now.
-King Aurthur is aiming for Christmas next year.
-From Justin to Kelly has been pushed back a week because it was in the most crowded weekends this summer with Dumb and Dumberer, Hollywood Homicide, and Rugrats go Wild. Its now up against the Hulk and Alex and Emma.
-McG who did Charlies Angles 1 and 2 is back on the list for directing Superman. He didn't it in the first place because of Charlies Angles 2, but since no progress has been made in the movie, he's available so why not.
-28 Days has been moved up from August to June 27 with Charlies Angles 2.

-Terminator 3 is 109 minutes long. Below is the previous movies and their budgets with some others.

-Terminator 3 has a confirmed R! No details yet on content but probaly strong violence, language, and the nudity when Arnold and T-X arrive.
-The Wrong Turn trailer is available. The movie that comes out this Friday didn't have a trailer before because the MPAA didn't aprove it for all audiences. I've seen it and its just kind of action packed.
-Bill Murray will be the voice of Garfeild. The original voice of Garfeild died a few years ago.
-Brett Ratner is so desperate to get Jackie Chan to do Rush Hour 3, that he flew to Berlin to talk to him. Jackie Chan still has 2 projects to do so the soonest we would see it is August 2005.

-Scary Movie 4 is confirmed as aiming for a January-March 2004 release. Yes. The 3rd one is coming in October.
-Wes Craven is not involved with the Nightmare on Elm Street Prequel.
-Phantom of the Opera has its cast, but its not big names like Antonio Bandeas. Its a few no names. The guy who plays the Phantom is Gerard Butler who was in Dracula 2000. He looks alright, but the girl who plays Christine, Emmy Rossum, is 16 and seems to young for me. I saw the play a few years ago and I always saw he as like 20. Type their names in google for their picture if you wish.
-Kyle Reese (Character from Termiator) may be in Terminator 3. If Kyle Reese is in it. He is not played by Michael Bien.

-Arnold says he's upto a Terminator 4. He's in shape and feeling great. The question is what about him for govenor?
-Andy Serkis is still doing Gollum work for ROTK.
-Michael Keaton wants to do Beetlejuice 2. Tim Burton wants to produce but not direct. They just need a script.
-17 year old Emmy Rossun will play Christine in The Phantom of the Opera.
-The Texas Chainsaw Massacure trailer will be attached to ROTK.
-Trailers for Johnny English and Wrong Turn are now available click on thr trailers link on the left.

-Universal Pictures is horrified by the test screenings of the Hulk. People are hating it. They say its long and boring. The execs are saying its not the typical Summer movie that has mindless action and comedy.
-Meet the Fockers has been greenlite and will start filming at the end of the year.
-Halle Berry broke her arm while working on Gothika.
-On August 12, House of 1000 corpses will be released on DVD in R and unrated versions.
-Anaconda 2 starts filming in July

-Lions Gate confirms they will make a House of 1000 Corpses 2. Rob Zombie says he's more confident and understands filmaking more.
-Charolate Church did not get the part in Phantom of the Opera because she is too fat.
-Johnathan Frakes (Star Trek) is now in the ring to direct Superman.
-Ashton Kutcher is in line to play Batman.
-George Cloony will be in the Fantastic Four.
-The guy who place the blue GUY in X2 is going to be a owner of the theater in the phantom of the opera.
-Exorcist Dominion has moved from July to sometime in 2004.
-Lord of the Rings 3 will not be 4 hours and 20 minutes. That seems to be the time of the first cut. they will probably bring that down quite a bit. But it will not be over 4 hours.
