Here are some helpful links for those that may want to support the troops and their families in different ways. Please take some time to look them over. There are some really creative ways to show your support!!!

Patriotic Guard Riders: Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives. 1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities. 2. Shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors. We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

OPERATION GRATITUDE seeks to lift troops' morale, and bring a smile to their faces by sending care packages to service members overseas. OPERATION GRATITUDE care packages contain food, toiletries, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation, all wrapped with good wishes of love and support.

We want to help raise money to support the families our heroes have left behind. Every HeroBracelet purchased will allow a minimum of $2 to be donated to the Fallen Heroes Fund, a non-profit, non-political fund instituted to provide aid to these families. In addition, HeroBracelets.org will also donate after-tax profits to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

Operation Hero Miles: In September 2003, the Pentagon started giving soldiers stationed in Iraq two-week leave periods in the largest R & R program since the Vietnam War; the soldiers can fly to Germany or Baltimore Washington International Airport for free, but they are responsible for the cost of flights to their final destination. Returning soldiers often have to purchase high-priced, last-minute airline tickets so they can spend time with their family. You can help American troops travel home to spend quality time with their loved ones. For more information, please see:

ARMAD is an annual Amateur Radio Special Event project that stands for Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day. We work with National Military Appreciation Month during the month of May. Amateur Radio Operators from around the world team up during this joint effort to allow the people from our communities to gather at public locations such as shopping centers, parks, VA hospitals, and sporting events to express verbal positive support "LIVE" over the radio for members of the Military, Veterans, Reserves, National Guard, and military support groups.
