Wild Card 2000 Pitchers Rick Reed (left) and Turk Wendell (right) pop a few corks and let the champagne fly as The Mets enter the playoffs for the second straight year! It was the first time in team history that the Mets had accomplished this.

Outfielder Derek Bell shows off a huge smile as he shakes and sprays his champagne in a champagne supernova. I gave a copy of this picture to Derek, which he had hung above his locker shortly after. Unfortunately, Derek did not play much after this celebration and is now with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Derek Bell
Wild Card 2000 Here I am (left) with Mets Manager, Bobby Valentine (center), and Joe (right) in Bobby's office just minutes after the Mets had clinched the 2000 National League Wild Card playoff spot. After all he'd been through, Bobby really deserved this one!

Adam with 2000 All-Star second baseman, Edgardo Alfonzo. Fonzy is one of the nicest guys on the team and was the heart of the Mets infield during the magical 2000 season. Adam and Fonzy

Adam and Turk Here I am with relief pitcher, Turk Wendell. While Turk was with the Mets, he had stopped by the video room sometime during the first two innings of a game because it was a superstition and it brought him good luck! Unfortunately, Turk was traded on July 27th, 2001 to the Philadelphia Phillies. I wish a great guy much luck and success!

Adam with 2000 All-Star pitcher, Al Leiter. Al is another great guy on the team. He's down-to-earth and is one of the team's leaders on - and off the field. A great guy all around. Adam and Al Leiter

Adam John Franco Here I am (right) with Joe (left) and relief pitcher, Johnny Franco (center).

Here I am with outfielder, Darryl Hamilton. Darryl is a great guy and has one of the best attitudes on a baseball team. Darryl was released by the Mets in early July of 2001. Adam and Darryl
