Since 1988, Echoes of the Past is dedicated to keeping American popular music of the 78-rpm-era alive and passed on to new generations.

The show features all original recordings as they were heard by the stars who made them famous. Pop music of the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's, and 60's never sounded as good thanks to the marvel of digital transfer and remastering to compact disc. Echoes of the Past, with Garrett Stack's unique format, presents the recordings in a "Hit Parade" fashion providing tid bits about the artists and the songs always noting the recording date and commercial or popular success of the record.
