Steven Curtis Chapman - Speechless

This is the first album I bought from Steven Curtis Chapman. This is not his first album though. Maybe someday I will go back and buy the earlier stuff. Anyways, this CD makes up for all the albums I didn't buy. This is truly a great CD. The first song will amaze you. It is called "Dive." If you don't sing the chorus after this song is over then you weren't listening to the song. This is a very catchy song. The next song is possibly one of the most beautiful and greatest song every written by anyone in the world. It is called "Speechless". I have never heard a song like this before where you are totally speechless and awed by the song. The guitars, the strings, the orchestra, the words, everything makes this song the reason to buy the album. This song is followed by a kind of catchy song called "The Change." This song is followed by a pretty worship song called "Great Expectations." Another great song on this album is called "Fingerprints of God." The album ends just amazingly with orchestras and love songs and just a great end to an amazing album.

Steven Curtis Chapman - Declaration

This is the newest album from Steven Curtis Chapman. The first song is just really upbeat and very very catchy. The song is called "Live Out Loud." I can imagine him singing this at a concert. A definite crowd favorite I bet. It definitely got my attention! The next song is a very beautiful song, very typical Steven Curtis Chapman music. It is called "This Day." The next song sounds kind of bluesy to start out with but it turns into a great rock song. It is called "Jesus is Life." The song after this is called "No Greater Love." It is a typical beautiful song from Steven Curtis Chapman. Another great song from this album is called "See the Glory", a very catchy and heavy guitar song. A very beautiful song is "When Love Takes You In". This is an amazingly soft and beautiful song.

My Rating - This is a great album. I do like Speechless better, but this has a lot of great songs. I would definitely buy this one just to hear what it sounds like to be consistently excellent.
