This Super-Vee is one of Willie's current projects. It's a 90 degree, V-Twin, with 94.2 cubic inches. The motor design is based on a Chevy 350 and uses 350 pistons, rods, valves and Crane hydraulic roller lifters. It's coupled to a STD 4-speed trans. using an American Racing Tech. hydraulic clutch. The drive line is a Magnum Proclutch and a Fisher-2 vibration dampener. The stock oil pump has been replaced with a Barns 2-stage oil pump. Everything is stuffed into a custom, goosenecked, raked soft-tail built by Rob at "Sundance Components".
This is the 1998 Road-king that Willie writes about in his article "Meeting By Accident".
Here is the repaired Road-king tank. Willie repainted the Violet-Pearl on top and sprayed the bottom with Birch-White. There is a fishnet stocking border separating the two colors. He applied the same treatment to the saddle bags. He also removed the tank decals and replaced them with retro tank badges.
Here is our buddy Fat Joe's ride. Willie painted this bike about 9 years ago and it still shines.
This trick job was done by caving in the tank panels and burying the preserved scorpions with resin.
Here's the finished scorpion job with new paint and flames. Willie also did a job with a bat buried in the panel with red fiber-optic eyes.
