Mote's Thoughts

Sikozu Svala Shanti Sugaysi Shanu, known as Sikozu, (Raelee Hill) is a Kalish. Members of her species are apparently hired out as information gatherers to other species. Sikozu made the mistake of giving out too much information (information her employers felt was worth killing her for.) In her escape attempt she ran into one John Crichton, who helped her survive her employers. She could not return home, however, because she had tarnished her reputation as an information seeker by making the blunder that she did. She hopes that she can repair her reputation and return home and considers herself just along for the ride until then.

Kalish seem to have several unique physical attributes. Sikozu is capable of reattaching severed appendages (provided she isn't separated from them for too long,) and can also shift her gravity center, which alows her to walk on walls or ceilings. This second feat no doubt makes her the life of any party... She seems to use this ability as a defense mechanism. One puzzling aspect of this talent seems to be that she was genuinely surprised to discover John Crichton couldn't do the same.  This seems to suggest that her experience with other species is quite limited, despite her great intelligence.

One drawback to being Kalish, however seems to be their inability to utilize translator microbes. It is unknown how many languages she knows but each time she encounters a new one, she must learn it from scratch. Her intellectual capabilities make this relatively easy however.

So far, Sikozu seems to be intelligent, if arrogant and inexperienced, and her natural disliking of PeaceKeepers and especially Scarrans seems to make her, if not an ally, at least not on the opposing team.

While she is generally repulsed by most of the crew, her fascination with certain things on an intellectual level, (i.e. Scorpius' cunning and John's knowledge of wormholes,) tends to keep her occupied.
