| Farscape- The Actors... Lani Tupu | |
 LANI TUPU plays Captain Bialar Crais, as well as voices Pilot. Born November 4th, 1964 in New Zealand. He attended both Rongotal College and Wellington Teachers Training College in Wellington New Zealand. He also attended the New Zealand Drama School. He is a self proclaimed Movie buff. Lani is greatly experienced both in front of and behind the camera directing as well as on stage. He is highly acclaimed and has been nominated for numerous awards and received one in 1993 for Best Dramatic Performance from the New Zealand Film Television Awards. His resume is extensive... far to long to even scrape the surface here. He has performed in the Films 'The Punisher' (they even spelled his name wrong in the credits) and 'Send a Gorilla.' His guest appearances in TV include in the US the 'Mission Impossible' series, 'The Feds' and 'Time Trax.' On stage he has appeared in over 40 productions and on top of all else, coaches acting. As of yet, there seems to be no OFFICIAL site for Lani Tupu. *Interesting Note: Lani Tupu was originally auditioning for the part of D'Argo side by side with A. Simcoe when he was offered the part of Crais.* |
