 GIGI EDGLEY plays Chiana. Gigi Edgley was born in Perth, Australia in 1977. Which makes her roughly 3 years my junior. If the 1972 theory of Claudia Black's age is correct, this puts them both within my dating range. Not that it's going to happen. I'm rambling- sorry. Call me? Please? Born to a promoter of some sort (her father,) and a former Miss Australia and spiritual and health guru, (her mother,) Gigi apparently had an early understanding of where she wanted to go in life- performance. Though she initially studied ballet, jazz and character dance she eventually, "...realized that I was better to woo the audience with my words, not my feet." She decided on acting and then attended Queensland University of Technology. Even this early in her career she has already made numerous guest appearances on such shows as an Australian mini series called Day of The Roses, the TV series The Lost World and Beastmaster and in an Australian Feature Film, The Monkeys Mask; many of these done during her breaks between Farscape Seasons.
