Players: Software used to play or listen to audio files via your computer.
There are many different players available for nearly all platforms. Each player has it's unique qualities and is useful depending upon your applications. Some will let you listen solely to mp3's while others support dozens of audio formats. Be cautious if you have a slower (less than a pentium 120) computer because many of these players will serioulsy affect the playback quality and your ability to conduct other tasks while an audio file is playing.
