CIVIL WAR
These records were complied from actual military pension records and from the database at civilwardata.com. The red stars before a persons name indicates that I have the pension records from the National Archives.
***Cryderman, Jefferson W.-resided in Eaton County, Michigan at time of enlistment and was 22 years old. He enlisted on Oct 26, 1861 at Roxand, MI as a Private. On Feb 6, 1862 he mustered into Co. "B", MI 10th Inf. He re-enlisted on Feb 16, 1864. Jefferson mustered out of the service on Jul 18, 1865 at Louisville, KY.

***Huntoon, Charles H.-resided in Evanston, Illinois at the time of enlistment. He enlisted on Dec 10, 1863 as a Private. On Jan 22, 1864, he mustered in on Co. "C", IL 17th Cavalry. Charles mustered out of the service on Nov 23, 1865, "on detached service at St. Louis, MO," no discharge furnished.

***Huntoon, George W.-resided in Evanston, Illinois at the time of enlistment. He enlisted on Sep 7, 1861 as a Private. On Sep 18, 1861 he mustered in to Co "F" IL 8th Cavalry. He re-enlisted on Nov 30, 1862 and was promoted to Sergeant. George mustered out of the service on Jul 17, 1865 at Benton Barracks, St. Louis, MO.

***Kinney, William H.-1st Lt. CO. "C" 89th IL Infantry. He enlisted on Aug 27, 1862 as a private. He was promoted to 1st. Lt. on Mar 17 1864. He was wounded on Jun 17, 1864. He mustered out on Jun 10, 1865 at Nashville, TN.

McDaniel, Charles-age 17 at the time of enlistment. He enlisted as a Private in CO. "F" IL 8th Cavalry. He enlsited on Feb 28, 1864 and mustered out on Jul 17, 1865 at Benton Barracks, St. Louis, MO.

Shakespeare, Leroy-resided in Evanston, Illinois at the time of enlistment. He enlisted on Sep 17, 1864 as a Private. He enlisted in CO. "C" IL 17th Cavalry. He mustered out on Jul 5 1865 at Ft. Leavenworth, KS.

***Shuman, Abraham W.-Enlisted on Apr 13, 1865 as a Private. He mustered into Co. "H" PA 215th Infantry. Abraham mustered out of the service on Jul 31, 1865 at Fort Delaware, DE.

Stearns, Gardner-resided in Utica, Wisconsin at time of enlistment. He enlisted on Aug 9, 1862 as a Private. He mustered into Co. "A" WI 31st Infantry. He was listed as wounded on Mar 21, 1865 in Goldboro, NC. He was listed as absent/wounded on Jun 6 1865.

Taylor, Hollis-He was 27 years old at time of enlistment. He enlisted on Oct 23, 1863 at Grand Rapids, MI as a Private. On Nov 19, 1863, he mustered into CO. "C" MI 2nd Cavalry. He was promoted to Scout on Oct 15, 1864.

Clampitt, Kendall L.-Private, U.S. Army. He enlisted on Sep 11, 1943 at Los Angeles, CA. He reenlisted on Nov 5, 1942 at Los Angeles, CA. He weighed 163 and his height was 70 inches.

Collins, Lester B.
GM2 US Navy. Enlisted on Jan 19 1944. He was mustered out on May 3 1954. He is buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Collins, Marshall Nicol- Air Force. Retired in 1968 and was stationed in 1966 at Oxnard Air Force Base.

Doty, Carl Raymond-MEC US Navy. He enlsited on Nov 4 1943 and mustered out on Nov 4 1945. He is buried at Riverside National Cemetery.

Doty, Ray R.-Private 1st Class, Air Corps. He enlisted on Nov 4, 1945 at Truax Field, Madison, WI.

Fuidge, James- Served in the US Coast Guard. SIC Radar. Served for 18 months. He was in the American-European-Asiatic-Pacific Theatre aboard the USS Gladwyn.

Givens, Boyd-Private, US Army. Enlisted 4-28-1944 in San Francisco. Received the Purple Heart. Participated in the Battle of the Bulge in Germany.

Huntoon, Bertha B.-Private, Women's Army Corps. She enlisted on 2-27-1945 at Los Angeles, CA. She was divorced with dependants at the time of her enlistment.

Huntoon, David W.-Corporal, US Infantry, CA. Enlisted on Mar 3, 1941 at San Bernadino, CA. He was also a member os the U.S. National Guard. He weighed 150 and his height was 69 inches.

Huntoon, Frederick Reuben- Chief Petty Officer-Navy-Navy Intelligence, Pearl Harbor. He enlisted on Nov 12, 1942 and mustered out on Sep 26, 1945.

Huntoon, Herbert C.-TEC 3 Corps. of Military Police for the Hawaiian Dept. of the Regular Army.. He enlisted on Nov 1 1945 at San Francisco, CA. He weighed 196 and his height was 89 inches.

Huntoon, Herta (Doliwa)-Was a member of the German Red Cross Underground near Holland during the war.

Huntoon, John W. Private US Army. He enlisted on Apr 17, 1942 at Los Angeles, CA. He was married at the time of enlistment. He weighed 152 and his height wa 74 inches.

Hurley, George R. TEC5 Corps of Engineers. He enlisted on Feb 25 1946 at Camp Beale, Maripville, CA. He was an engineer for the Hawaiian Dept. of the Regular Army. Was also a member of the Philippine Scouts. Gave 20 years of service.

Langworthy, Elmer- enlisted in 1944 at Fort MacArthur, San Pedro, California.

McCollom, Robert-was a member of the Army Air Force. Received the Soldiers Medal of Valor.

Morris, Robert A.-Private U.S. Air Corps. He enlisted on Sep 23 1941 at Los Angeles, CA. He was single at the time. He weighed was 160 and height was 73 inches.

Muir, Robert
-Private U.S. Army Field Artillery. He wnlisted on 1-27-1941 in Brooklyn, NY. He was a member of the 207th Coast Artillery for the 7th Regiment from New York.

Nuoffer, Harry G.- Private US Army. He enlisted on Jun 27, 1942 at Kalamazoo, MI. He weighed 145 and his height was 68 inches.

Olmer, Raymond-Private US Army. He enlisted in 1943 and was discharged Dec. 1945 and assigned to Chanute Air Force Base. He served in communications with the Occupational Army in Germany.

Purdy, Alan B.-Private US Air Corps. He enlisted on 10-22-1942 in New York City. He weighed 137 and was 71 inches tall.

Shuman, William A.-Private US Army. Enlisted 8-24-1942 Los Angeles, CA. Was a Postal Clerk at time of enlistment. He weighed 154 and his height was 67 inches.

Thompson, Robert Stearns-Private US Army. Enlisted 8-24 1942 in Utica New York. He weighed 128 and his height was 68 inches. He was killed in action in 1943 and at the time of his death he was a 2nd Lieutenant, USMCR.

Whalen, Earl E. Staff Sergeant, CO "I" of the 129th Infantry. Enlisted on Mar 5, 1941 at Elgin, IL. He was also a member of the U.S. National Guards. Earned the Good Conduct Medal on Aug 26, 1943. He mustered out on Jul 11, 1945. He weighed 173 and his height was 69 inches.
