Back in the USA!
We are back in the states! Erin is still a stay-at-home mom, but doing some part time work as a technical writer from home. Glenn is just beginning a job as Supply Chain Manager at Driessen Aircraft. Kaitlyn is considered a toddler at 16 months, and is outrunning us on a regular basis. We are settling into our rented house in Irvine, CA. We'd love to hear from you!
The original More Wandering Footnotes website was based on the trip mentioned below. Since then we have added a section for the restoration of a rare Saab Sonett II (two-stroke), a road trip we took around the U.S.A. in 2005, and our 2 1/2 years of living in Sydney. We have now added another Saab Sonett (1969 V4) and a '68 Mini along with the Kaitlyn section.

This is the continuing saga of the Wandering Footnotes team, Erin Hope and Glenn Roberts. After spending 3 months in southern Europe, we returned home to prepare for more travel adventures to share with our faithful family, friends and readers! We took off again in mid-September of 2002, beginning in Amsterdam.
The itinerary included 5 weeks in northern Europe, 5 weeks in Africa, 3 1/2 months in Australia, New Zealand & Fiji, 2 weeks in Indonesia (Bali), 1 month in southeast Asia, and a week in Hong Kong. The southeast Asia and Hong Kong portions were cancelled, due to the outbreak of SARS just as we were heading in that direction. We headed home in the end of March, 2003, newly married and excited about the new adventures awaiting us at home, but grateful for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity we'd had to travel the world!
