"Regrets, of the Heart"

In life there are many things that we decide to do. No matter if it is wrong or right, everyone makes their choice. Sometimes when we make a choice we regret the choice that we made. When that happens we wonder just why in the world we chose that way. Regrets is very often something that we wished we hadn’t done. Like tell someone that you really love, that you don’t love them. When in fact to lose that someone would tare your world apart. But Humans are funny creatures indeed, even though we know better than to let our mouths say something our hearts don’t mean. But we do it anyway.

When God created us he gave to each of us the freedom to chose which way in life we would go. And even though he turns his head at the evil we do, he loves us still. And He will take us back into his heart the minute we ask him to.

Regrets are Gods way of telling us, you goofed. Without our regrets the next time we came to the point of making a choice we might do again the thing that was wrong in the first place. Some people will call regrets "conscience" Some Christians call it "God is working". Either way, it is Gods way of slapping our hands when we are bad. Not enough to hurt us, but enough to let us know that we are being bad. And maybe enough to stop us from doing it again.

Everyone has regrets, I don’t care who they are not one person alive doesn’t regret something. What hurts the most is the regret of the heart. When the heart is hurt the pain is almost unbearable. Love is the most often fault there, the pain of regret of the heart is painful.

What is your regret? Is it something that can be fixed? How about taking it to God.

Let God carry your hurt and your regret. And watch and you will see that time will heal your heart. And the regret even though will always be there, won’t hurt so much. That is God taking your regret, and carrying it for you. Won’t you let him do that? All you have to do is to ask. And he will gladly carry all of your regrets and your pain, until such a time as you can carry them yourself.
