| SATURDAY HORROR #76 Out of Earth's orbit, a satellite used its solar panels and shifted through the recesses of space. Below it saw the beautiful planet known only as: Earth. Large bodies of water covered a third of the planet. It truly was a figment of beauty; seeing white segments of clouds cover certain portions of the atmosphere. As the satellite continued its course around the globe, it spotted an un-usual phenomenon un-folding before it in the pacific. Where clouds would usually be a mixture of gray and/or darkness, it was instead replaced by the glows of a blue aura that seemed to blind a portion of the ocean. The satellite engineers sought the location of where this was coming from on their computer, the words: "Battle Island" appeared… Battle Island… Streaks of blue light illuminated the ocean surface and bathed the entire island; Battle Island, in an eerie glow. The aura that dimmed the island originated from the towering form known only as Angel Zog. The godlike entity looked down from its thousand meter head and sent burst of psionic energies that easily carved deep wounds into the earth. Entire skyscrapers that were several times the size of Godzilla were reduced to rumble in only a matter of seconds. The psionic whips that stretched out from Angel Zog's irradiating hands sliced buildings and allowed the upper halves to fall into the streets and blanket the downtown areas in debris. Announcing Booth- Tomzilla: Are the Evangelions ready?! DDB: One of the technicians had told me to tell you that the Eva Units will be ready to deploy in…well…they don't know how long. Tomzilla: WHAT? How is that so? DDB: It seems the psionic energies inverted from Angel Zog's body has disrupted our machines that make it possible to launch Evangelion Units 1, 2, and 4. Tomzilla: Damn it…what now? TitanoGoji: Hahahahaha… DDB: What's so funny? TZ, I think TG has finally gone mad! TitanoGoji: You all laughed at me…ALL OF YOU! But now I seem to have the upper hand and can save us all! Tomzilla: What do you mean? TitanoGoji: DRAGONZORD! You all made fun of him for only being connected to Power Rangers! But now fools he's all we have left and only I can pilot him! DDB: We're UN-WORTHY! Tomzilla: Maybe you aren't… TitanoGoji: Bow before me infidels and feast your eyes on DragonZord, the mightiest machine ever! Minutes passed as TitanoGoji stood before the larger window that showed Angel Zog in the background. The fabrics of light that panned through the window and brighten the room in a blue aura made TitanoGoji's appearance like a ghost. TitanoGoji was tapping his toes with his arms around the other, looking down at Tomzilla and DDB. DDB was too busy bowing his head that he didn't know exactly what was going on while Tomzilla seemed angered. It wasn't until Montyzilla ran into the announcing booth that things became rouse. Montyzilla: We got to get the heck out of here! TitanoGoji: …Where's DragonZord?! DDB: Probably got out of here while he still could! Montyzilla: Screw that Power Ranger piece of junk; let's get to the Evangelions or leave. TitanoGoji: Like the Evangelions are junk?! They can't even operate! Tomzilla: Quiet! I've had it up to here with all of you…now listen right now. We're going to try and get power that will be good enough to charge up the Evangelions. Now I know that seemed impossible since the power needed to charge them up is great…and I doubt trying to get power by O say…sticking a machete on the roof and getting energy from lighting will do it…only an idiot would think that. TitanoGoji: Let's do it! DDB: …SHUT UP! Tomzilla: Yes please TG, your stupidity makes even our own look like Einstein. Montyzilla: Speak for yourself clone-I'm perfect! Tomzilla: What the hell was that all about? First off I'm not a clone and second you're no better than the rest of us! Montyzilla: Where's the evidence that supports your claim, huh? The Galaxy Trians are an advanced race and I don't doubt their ability to clone humans or any life form for that matter. So I suggest you shut the hell up and listen to me, since I'm the only real human that's man enough to take charge. Tomzilla: Oh really? Montyzilla: Yes really-you and DDB will stay here, while TG and I go find a power source. DDB; since you are the only one in the room that actually has a soul, I think the people at home would gladly listen to your superior announcing skills…rather than this disgrace of a human-no, he isn't even a human. The real Tomzilla that died years ago I had respect for and could call "friend" but now I know why I hate you…because you're a clone that only has his memories and looks, but not his spirit; his soul. The room for the next few minutes was silent. DDB and TitanoGoji seemed a little confused by Montyzilla's reaction towards Tomzilla. The CEO was frowning brighter than even the sun itself. His blood shot eyes stared into Montyzilla's own, who only turned away and motioned for TG to follow him. Reluctantly Titano followed Montyzilla and both ran down the hallway, leaving DDB and TZ in the announcing booth. DDB: Hey are you going to be alright? Tomzilla: That piece of shit-oh yeah, I'm really going to be alright. DDB: Sarcasm? Tomzilla: Damn right. But I'll try and keep…cool. A certain battle takes place in the dock area and here comes the challenger the brown gargantuan SANDA! He's normally the peaceful sort but today he looks ready for action and he's already holding a neck of a loading dock crane smacking it against the palm of his big hand as he waits for his opponent. And he doesn't have to wait long because here comes the Hardcore Champ now…KING KONG! The giant ape does a few big frog leaps smashing his way through warehouses making his way toward his enemy. He stands fully upright and pounds his massive chest letting out a roar that says he's a champion and he's not going down easily. Sanda seems virtually unimpressed and lets out a roar himself and charges forward swiping his crane at Kong's head. King Kong ducks under the swinging steel weapon and sends a powerful fist into Sanda's belly making him gasp for air and double over. King Kong plants a boot to the backside of Sand and shoves him face first into one of the warehouses. Kong then jumps up and drives all his weight into Sanda's back with an atomic splash. Sands moves to get up but King Kong rams stomp after stomp into the small of the giant's back and keeps flattening him face first into the pavement. But Sanda manages to grab one of the feet on the way down and flips Kong over and allowing himself a chance to get up. He does get up but King Kong is ready and waiting for him with a big kick to the chops that sends Sanda flying backwards into another building making it exploded into an orange fireball. King Kong throws his head back and roars to the heavens pleased with himself. But out of the burning rubble comes a charging Sanda and he looks mad as hell. His brown fur is still smoldering and throws a shoulder block into Kong that knocks the great ape backward. Sanda pounces on Kong's chest and begins pounding away on his face with fists of fury. Tomzilla: Fists of fury? DDB: Leave me alone I'm on a roll! Sanda pulls Kong up ad into a headlock and rams a knee right up into his gut. He lets Kong go and grabs his crane neck again and bashes Kong across the side of the head. A tooth goes flying and blood sprays from King Kong's mouth when Sanda belts him again on a return swing. Another hit and now King Kong is really reeling as Sanda bashes his brains out. Sanda takes another swing and this time Kong manages to block the blow and catches the crane with both hands. He falls to his back and plants his feet into Sanda's gut and monkey flips him across the battle zone! Tomzilla: King Kong "Monkey flips" him? That's good DDB: Well he did! What else would call it? You guys leave me alone! King Kong is all over Sanda like a buzzard on a carcass pouncing on his back with all his weight. Sanda lets out a grunt and King Kong leaves his knees planted firmly in the small of Sanda's back and interlocks his fingers under Sanda's chin and pulls back locking on a beautiful camel clutch hold! Sanda is grimacing in terrible pain as Kong threatens to snap his very spine! Sanda still refuses to give in and King Kong, in frustration, lets goo and takes Sanda up and then back down over his knee in a back breaker mover. Sanda rolls to the ground and Kong lifts him up by the waist high into the air and then… KA-POW! Kong whacks Sanda down to his back in a brutal spine buster slam! He rolls Sanda over and drops his knees into the back again and re-applies the camel clutch. Sanda's now badly worked over back can't take the enormous strain and the gargantuan taps out his submission. Here is your winner…KING KONG! King Kong Helps Sanda up to his feet. The two shake hands. What a great display of sportsmanship. That's what the MWF is all about; caring, helping and friends having a good time together. Tomzilla: You got to be kidding! DDB: I am! Anyway the two have had a discussion and are headed toward the city zone and Zog! Following behind them are Rodan and two of his variations; Fire Rodan and Aero Rodan and they all are headed right toward Zog. I don't know what these 5 monsters than they can do to combat the massive thing. From what I've seen Zog is indestructible but apparently these 5 have plan and the 3 Rodans soar off high into the clouds while Kong and Sanda continue onward on foot approaching Zog. Wow! Sanda and King Kong are enormous beasts but they look miniature next to Zog. He sees them but seems to pay them no mind. King Kong and Sanda each grab a train car club and approach him from either side and club away at him. They must be insane they'll have no effect at all! This is virtual suicide! And where did the three Rodans go anyway? As Zog kicks the two hairy pests aside sending them sailing through the air the three Rodans all attack from out of the sun firing their beams right into the huge beast's face hitting his eyes and mouth. As huge as Zog is the powerful beams make him recoil as they hit some sensitive zones. But the damage is minimal at best. And with one swat Rodan is smacked from the sky and sent slamming into a mountainside miles from the battle area. He hit the rock face and sticks there for a moment the slowly peels off leaving a gory red splotch of guts on the rock as his limp body tumbles to the bottom. Sanda and King Kong again try to distract Zog and the two remaining Rodans swoop in for another beam attack. But as they do Zog incredible mind control ability takes over their feeble brains. That same force that affected the pilots of the attacking jets takes over their feeble brains and cause them to spiral out of control to earth right at…Sanda and King Kong! With terrifying force the two flying dinosaurs slam head long into their allies. Fire Rodan hits Sanda while Aero Rodan's bright blue body slams into Kong. Both Rodan's necks snap on impact while at the same time their long sharp beaks pierce the chests of the land monsters and skewer their hearts. The attackers lay in two piles pinned together in death. Several miles away Rodan's bright eyes grow dim as he too succumbs from the massive trauma he took. Five brave Kaiju lie dead at Zog's hands while he in turn was barely scratched. Can anything be done to stop him? The air was desolate and reeked with death. Below the corpses of over a dozen monsters who were un-willingly caught in Angel Zog's wrath were instantly scalded by the creature's psionic powers. GxM slowly crept on all fours down a street corner, the bony plates down his backside bounced off the concrete layer of the nearby buildings. GxM's tail was in a straight line as he crawled closer and closer towards Angel Zog. GxM's reptilian eyes stared in disbelief and marveled at the amazing height of this creature-this deity. The windows alongside the building near GxM's bony plates began to melt-because atomic flames began to churn brightly from inside the spines. Soon nuclear energy sizzled in the monsters' jaws and the creature reared his head back and spewed a powerful stream of atomic energy that easily blasted the building into cinders. The atomic blast set off on a collision course with Angel Zog and upon impact the atomic energy seemed to just be absorbed the leviathan's body. GxM: What…WHAT IS THIS THING?! Mothra Leo flew in from above and fired a prism beam from his three-jewels on his forehead. Like GxM's atomic blast, the prism beams were seemingly absorbed by Angel Zog's kinetic skin. From behind Mothra Leo; Enferno and Deathtra flapped their wings side-by-side. Scalding streams of fire erupted from Enferno's mouth and washed across a portion of Angel Zog's cranium. Deathtra's micro beam detonated over Angel Zog's body-both attacks did nothing. The Red Dragon flew straight down and began to glide next to Angel Zog's side, only to see a strip of psionic energy bolting straight towards him! Enferno ducked down and watched as the psionic beam sear straight towards Legion and Biollante. The psionic bolt of energy ripped into the ground only a few hundred feet away from Legion and Biollante, and caused a wave of concrete to be pulled from the ground and head straight for them. Both gigantic monsters, but only a mere toothpick compared to Angel Zog, were instantly covered by the concrete. Biollante's tentacles burst form beneath the pile of material that imprisoned her and made room for the rest of her body to rise from. Legion's electro-magnetic beam carved a path for her to fly through. But as Legion rose from her newly created hole another psionic beam seared in her direction. The tiny arms around her face began to emit bolts of electrical energies that all struck her horn. The psionic beam collided with Legion's shield, and even with it up Legion was still skidding backwards across the ground. Finally the psionic beam faded and Legion was able to lower her shield and gather energy…the battle was fierce. As the destruction ensued, Gojira and Gamera slowly made their way towards "The Four Demonic Beast". Heldarr began to catch their scent and growled…he was only greeted by Bagan's terrifying laugh. Bagan: So Gojira you finally decided to join us! I'm afraid we have no room for the likes of you or your friend… Gojira: Fool! Gamera isn't a friend nor will he ever…he's just along for the ride. Bagan your betrayal will not go un-punished and I will see your own destruction! Bagan: Such a fool you are-big words coming from such a small creature. Without your immortal powers you are nothing! Gojira: Nothing? I'll show you nothing… Gojira's pale white eyes widen as a sizzling sound preached Bagan's ears. Atomic flames danced across Gojira's backside and blast of energy ripped from his mouth and engulfed Bagan's upper torso in a fiery explosion! When the dense smoke still covered the area, Bagan's amber glowing eyes pierced the smoke and stared at Gojira. A hideous laugh came deep from Bagan's throat as the demon retaliated by jumping high into the air and landing on the ground. Bagan's feet punctured the earth's surface with his 280,000 ton mass and caused the portions of the ground to rise up above his ankles. An un-earthly cry triumphed from Bagan's throat and the massive behemoth charged with full force… Bagan slammed his body against Gojira's own-enough to send the former Dark God flying through the air and slam into the earth's surface. The ground shook as cracks ripped through the surface of the area of where Gojira laid. Bagan slowly crept towards Gojira, even though the ground still shook from his massive feet whenever they moved. Bagan looked down at Gojira and smirked in disgust, until Gojiran pushed himself off the ground and tackled Bagan! Bagan: I'm sure that took a lot… Gojira: Taking down something like you? Not really-to me you're nothing. Bagan snarled and threw Gojira off of him. Gojira only landed on his feet and poured his atomic flames down upon Bagan, who was instantly covered by the atomic blast. When Gojiran ceased his assault Bagan charged once again and close lined Gojira to the ground. The demon looked down and started crushing Gojira's cranium with his feet, until Gojira rolled across the ground and spat an atomic blast at Bagan's ankles. Bagan was thrown off his feet and roared in pain before hitting his head against the ground. Smoke rose from Bagan's scorched flesh but it was instantly healed. The amber glowing eyes of Bagan dimmed even brighter when he jumped to his feet and fired a blazing energy blast from his jaws. The energy blast seared through the air and tore into Gojira's backside; blowing chunks of flesh and bony plates off Gojira's backside. Gojira roared in pain and glanced over at Bagan who was charging at full force-stars seemed to circle around Gojira's face after Bagan slammed his body against his own. Gojira soon found himself laying in rubble and Bagan looking down at him. Bolts of energy rippled around Bagan's triangular horns and generated energy like stars that ripped through Gojira's hide. Gojira roared in pain but doused Bagan with his atomic blast that caused the massive creature to fall to the ground. Meanwhile… Streams of smoke burst down Gamera's legs and soon disappeared, as the giant turtle flew straight into the sky like a rocket. When Gamera was only 800 feet he fired three plasma fireballs that seared straight towards Iris. Iris's tentacles lashed out and bounced the plasma fireballs off their curved metallic ends and sent them reeling in different directions. Gamera snarled and flew straight towards Iris, but Iris was already heading straight towards him and both met in an aerial fight. Iris embedded his dagger through Gamera's chest, which burst out of Gamera's backside with fire blazing at the very tip of the blade. A painful moan of agony slipped from Gamera's vocal cords as Iris raised two of his tentacles and fired two sonic beams that easily penetrated Gamera's hide. Gamera cried out in pain as green blood oozed from his wounds that had been inflicted on his shoulders by Iris's sonic beams. Flames churned brightly between Gamera's jaws as the Guardian of the Universe fired a plasma fireball that detonated across Iris's chest. Iris fell straight down with smoke rising from his charred chest and slammed head first through a towering skyscraper. The skyscraper crumbled in four separate angles and buried Iris's body. As Gamera dove straight down and prepared to fire another barrage of fireballs, Iris's four tentacles burst from beneath the rubble and like an auto cannon fired a barrage of sonic beams his own! The sonic beams easily penetrated Gamera's flesh and some even blasted right through his body! Gamera screamed in agony but kept on flying straight down and soon as three separate plasma fireballs came crashing down and consumed Iris in a ball of fire; the battle began to really heat up. Heldarr: Gelynn-Bagan and Iris may need our help. Should we interfere? Gelynn: By the looks of it, of course. "Not so fast…" As Gelynn turned a spinning shell flew from out of no where and nearly snapped Gelynn's neck upon collision. Gelynn fell off the balcony and landed against the ground. Godmera landed only a few feet away and un-leashed a barrage of nuclear fireballs that detonated over Gelynn's body. Heldarr snarled and prepared to attack Godmera, until Gameron jumped on top of Heldarr's back and pinned him against the ground. Gameron began to slam his fists against Heldarr's skull until the hound of hell was able to get free and dug his claws down Gameron's chest. The claw marks were visible and showed the agonizing pain that Gameron went through, as strokes of blood began to drip down from Gameron's wounds. Gameron roared in rage and un-leashed several fireballs that engulfed Heldarr's body in flame. But fire seemed to only enrage the wolf as Heldarr fired a terra beam that knocked Gameron off the balcony and landed on Gelynn. A current of energy rained down from Heldarr's mouth and washed across Gameron's shell, slowly melting the outer carapace. The hundred of jagged spikes on Godmera's back illuminated with nuclear energy and the mutant hybrid fired an atomic blast that knocked Heldarr off the balcony as well. The hound from hell bounced off the ground upon impact and then laid softly on the surface. Gelynn's organic tentacles wrapped themselves around Gameron's body and with amazing strength hoisted the monster in the air and slammed him repeatedly against the ground. Godmera flew straight towards Gelynn, leaving a stream of exhaust behind within his wake. Godmera tackled Gelynn to the ground and lashed out violently with his fists. It wasn't until Heldarr leapt onto Godmera's backside and dug his claws/teeth on the back of his throat. Just as Gameron got up and prepared to assist his comrade, an energy ball flared from his mouth and knocked Gameron against the side of the wall, where he fell forward. As six monsters fought to the death, dozens of others tried to survive against the mighty Angel Zog. Psionic energies continued to rip Kaiju apart and re-shape the look of the entire city. Angel Zog hasn't even moved yet-he didn't need too. As a psionic beam came spiraling out of his palms and streaked towards a Red Dragon, who many thought was Enferno but really Putricus, it seemed he was done for. Until a telekinetic shield seemed to appear over Putricus's body and the psionic beam literally bounced off the shield and was sent back to the source. Putricus turned to see Miereki fly through the air, particles of energy charging between his palms, and fire dozens of glowing orbs that covered a good portion of Angel Zog's right arm. As it seemed like Miereki's attack was an advantage for the Kaiju, but only caused minimal amounts of damage. Angel Zog turned his direction entirely towards Miereki and discharged several psionic beams that closed in on Miereki. Miereki held out his hands and concentrated his psychic powers to the max and concealed himself in a barrier. The psionic beams washed across the psychic barrier and made it painful for Miereki to keep the shield up. The psionic energies began to rip through the shield-Miereki wouldn't be able to hold out for long. A fireblast scalded from Putricus's throat and disrupted the psionic beams. As the dragon fired another blast of his flame at Angel Zog, Miereki fell from the sky and was caught by-Enferno. Miereki: You…you saved me from a bad fall. Why? Enferno remained silent and made no eye contact, but instead he laid Miereki on his side and stood side by side with Putricus. Both dragons roared a fearsome cry and spat a combined fire blast that tore into the kinetic surface of Angel Zog's torso. GxM came running towards the dragons and lifted his head upwards, releasing his own blazing energy blast that only disappeared in Angel Zog's kinetic skin. Mothra Leo flew straight towards Angel Zog's face with bolts of energy dangling around his wings and sent strong energy-like bullets that bounced off Zog's face. Mothra Leo reared up and fired his abdomen beam that also disappeared while striking Angel Zog…it seemed as if energy attacks would be absorbed. Deathbeast, the electric dragon, flew from out of no where and fired a barrage of his electric missiles that dug deeper into Angel Zog's body but caused no real damage of any kind. Angel Zog's psionic energies gathered and struck Deathbeast; vaporizing his skin instantly and slowly dissolving the dragon's body. Enferno watched as his dragon brethren vaporize before his eyes…the Red Dragon roared in anger and felt something inside him begin to manifest...Enferno's amber glowing eyes transformed into a glowing crimson glow and the dragon stepped back. His muscle mass began to enlarge and soon his red skin turned dark black. The ground beneath Enferno began to collapse as the dragon transformed… Deathtra: Rage… "No Deathtra…I am no longer Rage. Rage may be what I feel right now but that will not be my name. It will only describe my actions and carnage…no…I'm Drakan." Drakan flapped his mighty wings and sent powerful gusts of wind that easily caused buildings to be blown away. Putricus looked up at the towering dragon now known as Drakan. Steam hissed out of Drakan's mouth whenever he exhaled. The gigantic dragon bent his neck back and released a swirling blast of fire that, as if guided by the mind, circled Angel Zog's head and soon came together. Angel Zog's face was consumed by burning flames that caused even the deity to scream in pain. The scream was so intense it caused the entire planet to shake… Deathtra: Drakan…you are not the only one here who can transform into a level much like Godzilla's "Super Godzilla" stage! Behold… Deathtra's palms reached out and soon her entire carapace began to transform. Her skin began to transform into a metallic like coating and her appearance didn't change, but her mass did. Soon she was twice her size and weight-Deathtra was now Magna Deathtra. Magna Deathra appeared as if she was a "Mecha Deathtra", but she was organic and alive… Magna Deathtra: Now Drakan…let's see who can take this thing down first! Hours later…. Power had returned to the Evangelion Quarters beneath Battle Island. The kinetic energies moved at a fast pace through cords strapped to each of the Evangelion backs and combined its power with their own. Even if they weren't currently occupied by the pilots, the Evangelion began to twiddle their fingers and certain parts of their bodies began to move. The ceiling had not stopped shuddering ever since Zog awakened and burst from beneath the ground. Luckily Angel Zog did not rise in this area or piloting the Evangelion Units would've been but a mere daydream. Announcing Booth- Montyzilla: Well thanks to me we're alive! TitanoGoji: To be honest, its true guys-he did somewhat save us. Tomzilla: Spare us TG, but we must depart right away. Things have become far more…difficult. Seems two monsters have reached levels much like Super Godzilla and even they might fail-UNLESS we intervene and assist. Montyzilla: Why don't you spare us your speech, clone, and let us humans do what we need to do. You can die for all I care… Not only has things heated up for the monsters but also for the humans as well. Can the pilots co-exist and work together, to bring down the leviathan known as Angel Zog? Time will tell… On the next Saturday Horror… Drakan… Magna Deathtra… The Evangelions… DragonZord… Angel Zog… …and more! All fight that would eventually leave to the coming of Zog's most powerful form! Don't miss the ultimate battle that ends May Monster Mayhem!!!!!!! |
