April 11, 2008 - Rumors have begun to circulate across the nation that Barack Obama Democratic U.S. Senator from Illinois and candidate for the 2008 Democratic Presidential nomination, is really an alien from The Plant X.
“Look at his eyes” said Miyuki Otanashi, a scuentist for the Earth Defence Force. “I was watching him one night on TV and I noticed that he never blinks. It just isn’t normal for a human, but it is indicitive of an Xilien.”
Xiliens, the aliens from Plant X came to earth in 2004. At first the Xiliens appeared to be a peaceful, helpful, and familiar people, their intentions appeared simple and pure, they wanted to save humankind.
The truth was far more sinister than these visitors from abroad cared to disclose. Each individual alien wore an amazingly realistic disguise, These evil beings realized that they could be accepted far more easily when taking on a pleasing form, but they weren't as human as they appeared Beneath their facade, were their true forms revolting monsters! The Xiliens tried to use giant monsters to subdue the earth, but The Earth Defense Force, with the help of Godzilla, repealed the invasion.
Now the crafty aliens seem to have devised another scheme to seize power, have one of their own elected to the highest office in the land.
If these allegations prove to be true, it will make the choice very difficult for U.S. voters, especially since it has already been proven that Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain is an Ape-like Alien from The Black Hole Planet Number 3, and that the other Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton is a Cockroache-like Alien from Nebula M. All three races are bent on world domination.

King Kong only made it as far as St Charles Ave. before passing out. Onlookers say Kong had been drinking heavely earlier when he ransacked a local Brewery. The sight of the Giant Apes wild behavior, brought tears to the eyes of revelers as many saw this as yet another sign that New Orleans is recovering from Hurricane Katrina and life is returning back to normal.
The giant ape was later returned to Skull Island by Forces from the United Nations, who has jurisdiction in matters involving King Kong. Story By Hockalocker
In the ten months since, most of the population has returned. The Statue of Liberty, The Brooklyn Bridge, The Woolworth Building and the rest of NYC has been rebuilt. Little evidence of the destruction remains.
Still very little information about the incident is being released. Citing articles of The Patriot Act of 2001, Department of Home Security spokesman; Russ Knocke, said that all information pertaining to Case Designated "Cloverfield" is being kept confidential due to questions of National Security.
What is known is that just before midnight, the attack began in New York Harbor. Something big, attacked an oil tanker. People all over the city were shaken by an explosion that could be heard for twenty miles.
The monster then decapitated The Statue of Liberty. The monster then came ashore in lower Manhattan.
One eye witness, New York artist Neville Page, compared the creature to a rampaging elephant, saying "there's nothing scarier than something huge that's spooked". The monster was believed to be around 25 stories tall.
The monster was covered with parasites. One observer described the parasites as "horrifying, dog-sized creatures that just scatter around the city and added to the nightmare of the evening." He added, "The parasites had a voracious, rabid, bounding nature, but they also have a crab-like crawl. They have the viciousness of a dog, but with the ability to climb walls and stick to objects."
Early in the morning of May 23, panic swept through most of the city. So many people tried to escape the city, most of the routes were clogged with traffic causing many people to abandone their cars and try to leave on foot.
The Brooklyn Bridge was packed with pedestrians when the monster damaged a section, sending hundreds to their watery death into The East River below. The creature then continued its rampage into mid-town.
The initial military response was ineffective dispite gunfire, artillery, air launched missiles and bombing. A deadline for people evacuating the city was set for 6;00 A.M. It was at that time that the military enacted its “hammerdown protocol” in an effort to destroy the monster using the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb.
The results of that bombing has never been disclosed. Manhatten was under Community Containment Quarantine for six days. Nobody was allowed to enter or leave. A No-Fly Zone was inforced with in 100 miles of the affected area.
When the Quarantine was lifted a state of Martial Law was declared as people were allowed to return to the city. Rebuilding started right away as billions of dollars were poured into the project.
This was in sharp contract to the response to Hurricane Katrina, the 2005 Atlantic hurricane that devastated New Orleans and much of the Gulf Coast. The Federal Government was the subject of much criticism because of their lack of response to that disaster.
This has caused many observers to wonder if the fast response might be due to a conspiracy to cover up something. When asked about this DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff said “No comment”.
Nobody is saying anything about the monster, where it is, if it’s alive or dead or where it came from.
This is not the first time that New York has had to recover from a Giant Monster attack, most notably by Rodan in 2004, Zilla (the monster formerly known as the American Godzilla) in 1998, Rhedosaurus in 1953, and King Kong in both 1976 and 1933. Story By Hockalocker

Ms. Ford also expressed concerns about her other friends. “Where are they? They were supposed to be on the next flight out. What happened?”

U.S. Unvails Mechagodzilla 4.3 Prototype
The U.S. has been working closely with the Japanese to develop this mega-weapon over the past four years since Japan scraped its Kiryu Project in 2003.
The new Mechagodzilla is being developed at a secret hanger located in Kellyville U.S.A.
“This new Mechagodzilla is larger than Kiryu (Mechagodzilla III) but it lacks the bio-components that were found in it. This new version is a pure robot. This will help us avoid many of the problems associated with our last project.
4.3 is like the 1993 Mechagodzilla II, in size, about 120 meters tall” Said chief engineer Shin Takuma. “It has many of the best features of both of its predessors. These include NT-1 Artificial Diamond armor plating that absorbs power from weapons fired at it, Plasma Grenade weapon that amplifies stored plasma energy and fires it back to its source, Eye beam maser cannons, a Mega-Buster mouth ray, Paralyzer missiles fired from shoulder and hip ports, and Shock anchor/G-crusher electrical harpoons located in forearm ports and of course the Absolute Zero Cannon”.

Roboticist from around the world gathered in Oklahoma City this weekend at the Cox Convention Center. They are meeting to develop robots to try to stop an invasion of the dreaded Space Crickets.
“These Space Crickets are huge!” said Daniel R. Moore: Technology Coordinator of the top secret Caddo Kiowa Technology Laboratories, located at an undisclosed location in Southwestern Oklahoma. “They can’t be stopped with conventional weapons”.

Gigan Remains
The New Stardust Casino in Las Vegas bought the remains of Gigan a monster that was destroyed recently in a battle with Mothra during the war with the Xiliens in 2004. They plan to make it an attraction at The New Stardust Casino that opens on May 1 2008 on the famous Las Vegas Strip.
“It will be the biggest thing on the strip” said casino owner and suspected mobster Sam “Lucky” Rosedale ”it will crush cars and other things like a monster truck does but it will be more spectacular than anything anyone has ever seen!”
Gigan is a giant cyborg monster that stands 120 meters tall. It is believed to be over 10,000 years old. It was used by the Nebula M Aliens, as their ultimate weapon when they tried to take over the Earth in 1972. It was stopped by Godzilla at that time. It was revived in 2004 by the Xiliens.
“I found the Gigan carcass in a salvage yard. The brain had been removed as had all of the weapon components. Really it was just an empty shell. We bought it and replaced the brain with a computer. We rewired the whole thing and then fixed up the whole body. We restored its arm blades, rotary cutter and cluster beam. People will come from all over the world to see this.”

in Children
April 13, 2008 - According to Madeline Ebenezer, spokes person for the “Seen Not Heard Coalition for Old Fashioned Values” Gamera the Giant Turtle, has been linked to misbehavior and disobedience in children.
A recent investigation showed that during a battle in 2006, between Gamera and another monster by the name of Zedus, several children in Tokyo, disobeyed parents and other authorities and put themselves in harms way, as they were mysteriously compelled to transport a strange glowing stone to a dangerous location were the monsters were battling.
The investigation suggested that Gamera had established some kind of Psychic connection with these children that caused them to misbehave in a dangerous manner.
“Gamera has been referred to as ‘The Friend to All Children’ by some people in the past” said Ms. Ebenezer “How could anyone still believe that nonsense after this?”
It is not clear what role the glowing stone, that was passed from one child to another, had in this situation, but it doesn’t seem that it caused any permanent harm.
One young boy, identified as 11 year old Toru Aizawa claimed that he raised a baby turtle which he named “Toto”. He believes this turtle later turned into Gamera. He further claims he had found this glowing stone that he believed had a healing quality. Toru said “Toto needed the stone to live”.
