Service Projects
Our chapter works on a variety of service projects throughout the year to benefit
needy children and others in our community.

On a regular basis, we support the DePelchin Children's Home in Richmond by
providing the "fun" things that their budget does not allow them to purchase like
junk food and snacks, summer time fun items, art supplies or kids videos.  We also
visit the Autumn Hills Convalescent Center in Richmond once a month where our
kids get to have a "grandparent-for-a-day" and the residents enjoy playing and
visiting with our children.  Sometimes we have planned activities like craft days
and other fun activities.  We also have an "Adopt-A-Grandparent" program for
a little more "one-on-one" time with the residents.

This fall, we will be sponsoring our First Annual Community Tag Sale.  Residents
of our community can rent a space to sell any items they may have around such
as toys, clothes, furniture, etc.  All funds raised will go back to the MOMS Club to
help with the service projects mentioned above and any others we choose to
                                                support throughout the year.

Come back soon for an update on the new activities we've been up to!
