| The MOMS Club of Powell welcomes all mothers to join our club. The bounderies for the MOMS Club of Powell cover the area North of Home Road; East of Route 23; South of I-270; West of Sawmill Road. If you do not fall within these boundaries, to find a club near you, click here to go to the International MOMS Club site or you can send an email inquiry to MOMSClub@aol.com. Our membership dues are $25 per year (may be waived in case of financial hardship). We are a nonprofit club so all money is used exclusively to cover club expenses and projects. Examples of club expenses are things such as printing, copying and mailing of the monthly newsletter; office type supplies (such as name tags for club meetings, folders and copies for new member packets, ect.); and yearly dues ($2 per member per year) which are sent to International MOMS Club organization. At times, money from the chapters treasury is also donated to charitable organizations. Anytime club funds are spent, it is first approved by the membership. Prospective members are invited to join in two activities before deciding if this is the club for them. Please contact our Membership VP |
| Benefits when you join.............. ~ Friendship There is no better way to meet and make friends with other at-home Moms in our community. ~ Newsletter/Calendar Delivered to you monthly, our newsletter contains a wealth of information about MOMS Club events. ~ Helping Hands When in need of help due to pregnancy or illness our group pulls together in providing meals and running errands. ~ Community Service Projects Our club is continuously involved in projects to benefit charity, especially local services for mothers and children. ~ Moms Night Out Moms need a night out now and then so we work to coordinate a monthly outing just for us. This is done during the week and it is generally at a restaurant or at another member's home. This is a great way to relax away from the kids and get to know the other members a little better. ~ Get Involved There are many staff positions available and volunteers are often needed for different projects and activities. |
