A Tribute in Honor of:
September 11, 2001 World Trade Center
I chose to create this page in honor and remembrance of the tragic events that took place on September 11, 2001.

I am doing this to give people an idea of what I experienced on my recent trip to New Year City and in the hopes that people will NOT forget what happened on that fall day on September 11, 2001.

It was a cold winter night in New York City and it was during the Christmas Holiday that I stood in front of what was once the World Trade Center, which is now known to the World as Ground Zero.

I looked into the empty pit, this hole, this void and all I saw was dirt, piles of rubble and machines that work around the clock to remove what remains of a shattered building that once rose tall on the Manhattan Skyline.

As I looked around, I could see the dust all over the street.  Then the were pictures of missing loved ones, teddy bears, candles, flowers, and letters for people all over the USA and all over the World sending their heart-felt condolences.

This is a sight that I will NEVER forget.  As I looked into this massive void, I looked up and I could almost see the World Trade Center still standing there in all it's glory.

Then in a split second all the glory of the Towers turned to horrible sights of September 11 of the planes flying into the buildings and the Towers falling to their death.

As I stood there freezing and envisioning the events that took place on September 11, I began to cry.

One thing that I will never forget is the smell from Ground Zero.

That smell is VERY hard to explain.

If you see Ground Zero the rage and anger that people felt on the horrible fall day will come back and you will feel it again.

On September 11, 2001 I honestly believe that everyone became a New Yorker for that day the country's heart was with New York City.

I can remember as a child going to the World Trade Center and going to the top and looking out over New York City.  That is an imagine of my childhood that I will always cherish now.

To me is it just a shame that children now will not be able to cherish a memory like that.

We as people and as a country should NOT EVER forget what happened on that horrible day for if we do than those poor soul's that lost their lives, lost it in vien and that tragic event WILL happen again.

On September 11, it impacted me more than I thought it would because someone  that is VERY dear to me and that I love attends college only a few blocks away from Ground Zero.

He was supposed to be in class that morning and I could not get through to him until late that night.

The worsest part was not knowing if he was alive or dead.

The thought of NEVER seeing him or talking to him again was unbearable.

Thank god he was not in class that morning and was safe at home but what about the poor family and friends that lost loved ones?

They were not as lucky as I was.

As for me, I play an online game called Ultima Online.

I have several characters on the Baja Shard.

My main character is Lady Silhouette, who is a GM ranger, soon to be GM mage, tamer and Scribe.

She is married to Lord Molicious.

Then there is Blaze, she is a GM tailor and soon to be GM alchemist,  tinkerer and carp.

Next I have Devi and she is my faction Mage/Tamer.

Last but not least is Shiloh, she is an archer/bard/tamer/mage.

Well that's really it about me =)
