Carelessly Spoken

Most of the time, ridicule is chosen over the logical,
When judgments are lies, and are said to everyone,
It just spills and widens into a big mess,
  Bigger than anyone could know,
Because it is connecting from one person to the next,
Some people don't notice what they're doing,
Rumors are almost like an obsession,
And it corrodes at the truth.
Then, this mess spills over to that one precious person,
And now they know what was said,
And it swells up inside of them,
It tests their strength in their soul,
Because it hurts so much and so deep,
And now they know that everything that was said about them is not true,
  And never was,
These lies try to fade out their integrity,
But now these rumors are continuous,
  Because of careless talk,
Because people choose to hate others when they aren't even bad people,
Can't our love become more blind,
  More blind than judgments?
Could there be respect knowing that anyone has a worth,
  Even in their own way,
And worth in the love that others give them,
When someone works hard to be the person they are,
They are haunted by their difficulty because people
Will only see the opposite of who they actually are,
The ones that really do care, can't take words by secondhand,
Because they know they would be lying to themselves.
While careless talk is always visible,
And from this virus, it is continuously causing pain,
We can begin to make it invisible by the need to clear up issues,
And to see through this darkness,
By needing to stand up for others,
By listening closer to each other,
And listening to the precious victims at the very same time.
That will give us the chance to know more of our ideas.
