Missionary Work is a key aspect to the success and continuation of the Church of Modern Day Revelation. Sometimes, however, the task of a missionary is a difficult one, beset by many trials and tough questions. This area is dedicated to the education of Missionaries in various techniques they can employ to approach people with the message of the church. Included here in a series of answers to frequently asked questions, for Missionaries to peruse in their tasks.

Ideas for reaching the masses:

1. General Proclaiming: A tried and true method to convert people is the proclaimation in any general channel. It is wise for missionaries to have a macro, or series of macros with their message preset into it. A good macro ought to include the following information:

-The name of the guild
-We are a heavy RP guild
-All classes, races, and levels are welcome
-Of course, that they should PST you for information
-Our SL is religion-based

You might also include something to catch their attention, about prophecy, or some such thing.

2. Public Preaching: A somewhat more difficult approach that requires a more bold spirit is that of the sermon in a public place. Choose a place where many people are gathered (The Commons in Ironforge, or the
Goldshire town square are good places, for instance) and speak on any of our doctrines. This may annoy some, and you may receive persecution from some, but you may convert a few people, and get the message out anyway. Some guidelines for performing this approach:

-Do not be intimidated by naysayers or persecutors
-If someone asks you a question in a Tell, arrange to meet them after your sermon is complete
-If approached by the local law enforcement and asked to stop, feel free to question the reasons, but remain peaceful. Violence is not part of missionary work.
-Do not use any inflammatory comments or language, you must reflect well on the church at all times.

3. One on One Appointment: If you have been interacting with someone for a while, or know a friend who may be interested, what better time to talk to them about the church? Many people find this approach to be most agreeable, and are vere likely to convert if you are a good group member.
