Foundation, Inc., reactivated in 1986, also a member unit of The Alabama
Division of Re-enactors, Ken
Sumner, Brigadier General, Lt. Col. Randy Smith
, 2nd in command. We currently have members in 9 states, Australia, England and Germany. We are a
family oriented Civil War reenactment unit, participating in and hosting Civil War Living
History Camps and Battles in Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. Our members have
participated in movies, such as The Blue and Gray Book 2, Last Confederate Widow Tells All,
Andersonville, Class of '61, Shenandoah to name a few. We strive to relive history for the
public in such a way that an accurate picture may be had to educate and to help raise
funds for historic preservation of Civil War sites in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama. We encourage
those of you who are interested in joining a family oriented unit and participating
actively in historical remembrance, research, and battle reenactments to join us. 5th REG' TENN VOL INF, East
