Lot's to do! Prep yourselves, I can't say these things enough... Practice everyday, record yourself, be your worst critic, stick heights, know your basics! Make all your warmups become effortless. Always think ahead... say to yourself... "what does Joe want to see from me at the next rehearsal?" Make it happen, then show me your skillz at practice! Do it up kids! Joe

News 10.1.06 Important month Wats up guys I updated the dates, this month is a important and really busy month. We are goin to retake are sectional picture this thursday, plz be at the band room by 4:50 plz so we are ready for the picture at 5:00pm plz dont be late were lucky we get to retake it. also bring me or johnny 3 dollars by friday so we can have a full page in the tourny program. i listed the important dates on the this month list. but the full fall calender is under joes comments so check that out to see the full list of dates etc. L8ers 9.14.06 Exciting News: Hey guys, I have some very exciting news. Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps will be holding So-Cal auditions the day after Thanksgiving! The location is yet to be determined so keep checking the website for that and when they post the audition packet. BATTERY PACKET PIT PERCUSSION PACKET! There is no cost to audition for this one, but if go to the Dec. camps there is a one time $80 fee. But lets not focus on that, the So-Cal audition will be free! Nothing to lose and so much to gain! Join SCV 2007!!! Other drum corps audition dates Blue Devils: Saturday Dec 9 - Sunday Dec 10 Pacific Crest + Dec. 3, 2006: Diamond Bar, Calif. (Workshop) + Dec. 10, 2006: Diamond Bar, Calif. (Workshop) + Dec. 16-17, 2006: Diamond Bar, Calif. (Auditions) more auditions -CD 8.28.06 Update Ok I updated the dates, tomorrow there's a music rehearsal from 12pm to 2pm, on Qednesday there will be a teacher welcome at school, band members have to be there, wear ur class B shirt. It starts a 6:30 and ends at 7:30 then later on that same day we have a music rehearsal from 3pm to 5pm then Thursday is night rehearsal 8.22.06 Update The band camp times have changed, band camp goes from 7:30am to 3:00pm, with a lunch break at 12:00pm to 1:00pm. For registration you will be dismissed around 11:30am to get your id pictures taken. Just bring your registration packet with everything signed to the band room and Mrs.C will take care of registering for you. And if you dont have double beat get it from anyone else on the drumline. thats it for now. Learn double beat guys, L8rs 8.20.06 Band camp tomarrow Tomorrow is the start of band camp, please to be there at 7:30am; dont be late. bring your music, instrument, pencils, water and anything else you might need for this week. see you guys tomorrow.
