"Southern women are Mack trucks disguised as powder puffs." - Reynolds Price

Hi, welcome to my little corner of the web!

I am 29 years old and graduated in August 2004 with a BA in philosophy (concentration in religious studies, plus a minor in history) from Lousiana State University. Home is Baton Rouge, Louisiana - also home of some of the best food on earth (I'm sorry, y'all, but CRAWFISH ARE GREAT cher!) and the stupendously wonderiffically awesome LSU Tigers sports teams. In 2004-2005, I served in an internship program called Resurrection House in Omaha, Nebraska. On this page you'll find some of my pictures of life as an RXH intern. After spending a little more time in Omaha absorbing the experience, I have returned to Louisiana. I am presently in the Masters of Social Work program at Tulane University in New Orleans. Ahh, the joys of grad school!

When I'm not cooking or eating some of that awesome Louisiana food, I enjoy photography, writing, reading, messing with my computer, and music. I have been active in my home church St. Alban's Chapel, LSU's campus Episcopal student center. I also try to play a bit of piano, guitar, bowed psaltery, and Appalachian (or lap) dulcimer.

Rich Mullins is (gee how did you guess?) my favorite musician and writer - if you've never heard of him, check him out...

My interest in reading has led to a huge collection of quotes about human life both spiritually and as social animals...

I have a few pictures scanned and up here - so here you can see some of my fun pics of people and places, and I've got a few little attempts at artistic photography up as well.

If you're curious about my music stuff, favourite musicians, or people I hang with, feel free to go have fun on my links page.

Every now and then I think archetypal kinda things are interesting ... here I am (maybe, according to one source):
