About Drexel:

Drexel University is located in the heart of Philadelphia, PA near 30th Street Station, and is the home of the Dragons.  Drexel is one of the top engineering schools in the nation and has one of only two certified Architectural Engineering programs in the area.  Drexel also has a great co-op program which allows its students to have an opportunity to experience their career field in the working world before they graduate.

Why I Am Attending Drexel:

I am going to Drexel University for many of the above reasons.  I want to study to become an Architectural Engineer and Drexel is a great place to do that.  I want to be an Architectural Engineer because I like to design and draw houses and other structures.  I am also good at Math and Science which are two subjects that are critical to engineering.  Also, through designing my own houses and structures I am able to incorporate my own style and ideas.

Drexel's Architectural Engineering program is a five year program.  The curriculum at Drexel for Architectural Engineering requires its students to have 130 credits in order to graduate.  Also, students are required to complete a six month co-op term during each of their second, third, and fourth years.
