| 384 - 322 BC Aristotle was one of the most famous ancient Greek philosophers and scientists. He was born in Macedonia and at the age of 17 went to Athens to study at Plato's Academy where he remained for the next 20 years as a student and teacher. He gave lectures in logic,physics,poetics,astonomy,meteorology,zoology, metaphysics,psychology and politics just to name a few.Aristotle made major contributions to natural philosophy and the study of astronomy. |
