Work Hours:  9:30am - 5:30 pm

Another work day marked off the calendar.  Maria was working on adding in error checking to the programs she had wrote last week when I got there.  Since we'd finished working on figuring out how to use the Keithley 238, I decided to go on and try to figure out the Keithley 617, the other instrument we need to do our tests.

Now that we have figured out how to control several instruments using GPIB already, this was a somewhat easier task than the past few instruments.  However, the instrument wasn't measuring the current across the resistor properly, so we spent the rest of our work hours trying to solve that problem.

After lunch, we went to yet another of our weekly RISE meetings.  This time our meeting was the same as the one that all the guys from the Merit program from our lab went to, so we walked over there with them.

Lindsay didn't come to work again today, so it was just the three of us.

After work, I had to go take some dvds back to Blockbuster so I fought traffic on Rt. 1 to drive there and back.  Its really nice out and weather.com says its supposed to stay nice all week.  :)
