| We both had a crush on each other in our school years, time got away. I moved, then we did not see much of each other, but did your sister's. My life took it's turn toward , the start of not so good things. Married, had two girls, then our paths crossed again, a happy time. You were so fond of my two little girls sure they do not remember you ? We spent countless hours together, you made the tenderest love known!! Your family, even though I was still friends, did not want us together. We ignored their feelings, fell so deep in love with each other. Then, you joined the service, was called away, we both cried when you left. We wrote letters almost everyday to each other, still have them. I could see this was too hard on you, so I asked you to try and move on. While away, you wrote to tell me that you had to marry someone else. With those same words, you said, I still love you with all my heart. Guess, it all was true, was told I was all you talked about years later. By then, it was too late, for I had also remarried for the second time. Funny, you still live just down the road from me, seen your sister's lately, at the 2003 high school reunion, you were not there, but I asked about you :) ~I Loved You Deeply Larry~ |
