The English Atheist - religious website Excellent exchange Program

(or: TEARWEEP)

These web pages have been 'going' a mere two months (at the time of writing). The Atheist segments convey my feelings about religion in a way that I hope a few readers may find amusing. It has occurred to me that although I have seen links that point from Atheist sites to religious sites, I have never seen the opposite. But I have a proposition...

Out there on the WWW are thousands of sites that profess faith and thousands of sites that embrace the opposite view. Well, I have had an idea. I am a quite reasonable man and in the interest of fairness and parity, I propose an exchange of website links. I would be prepared to include - on this very page - a link to any genuine religious web pages - provided they include a link to my pages in return. Let's learn what the other has to say. Let's learn what the other view preaches.

A round thing with a curve in the middle

There has to be some rules. And here they are:

1. Swapped links will point to the main page of the other site. (usually the index.html file)

2. Banner graphics (468 X 60) of 5K or under can be used if required. (No animations please)

3. No derogatory comments are allowed next to the links.Signpost

4. Links will appear on each others site at roughly the same time. 24 hours is a resonable 'window'.

5. All communication is done via e-mail.

6. The '_blank' qualifier can be used with the link.

7. Links will be removed as soon as possible when requested. Within 24 hours seems fair.

8. Links to 'Lists o' Links' pages are not allowed

9. Only links submitted by the creator of the relevant web page will be allowed a link.

10. Sensible rules may be added as and when needed. All suggestions will be considered.

11. The rules apply to both 'exchangees'.

So, religious web page folks, are you up to it? Does promoting your page to unbelievers tickle your fancy? Let's hope so, because my prediction is that there will be no applications whatsoever. But maybe I will be proved wrong.

And now - the links...
