After the delayed train journey and overnight bus we checked into Hotel San Diego still fairly early in the morning, leaving us the whole day to look around. We spent hours updating our website and then went to Mazatlan Viejo, the old part of town, for drinks and dinner in Plazuela Machado, a very romantic square. The following day we climbed up to the second highest lighthouse in the world for great views of the city. Later on we headed to the malecon to watch the sunset over the Pacific, before having dinner and then catching our bus to Guadalajara. |
