George Ludwig Horning & Catherine Keyser

The story of our Ancestry continues when Margaret Souplis and Peter Dirck Keyser married in Germantown, Pennyslvania on September 24,1700. Well, you have seen the list of their children on the previous page.........if not click on the candle above, and you can get back there to read all about it.
One of their daughters, Catherine, was born September 17, 1718. She married our Ludwig Horning. (Often referred to as George Ludwig Horning). Ludwig was born December 26,1707. I have no marriage records of Ludwig and Catherine, but it is presumed that they were married by or in the year 1737. That would mean she was 19 and he was 20. But if you figure out their birth & death dates, old Ludwig was pretty long in the tooth when he passed on. He'd have been 95. And his life would have spanned 2 centuries, being born in 1707, and died in 1802. Incredible !
Catherine was 81 when she died, 3 years before he did. Course he didn't give birth 8 times either now did he?
Ludwig died June 4,1802, and Catherine died March 6,1799, but not before they had a whole bunch of children.
And those babies were;
Barbara ~ we don't know when Barbara was born, nor when she passed on, but we do know that she married Johannes Hall in 1757.
Peter ~ Birthdate unknown, but he apparently died in 1823 in Barton Township, in Ontario, Canada. His wife's name was Isabella.
Michael ~ born April 3,1744, died February 17,1836 married to Hannah Roberts
Elizabeth ~ born March 16,1749, died November 23,1937 in Chester County, Pennyslvania. She married Jacob Heffelfinger.
Margaret ~ birthdate unknown, died sometime in 1839 aand married to John Grater (Johanne Crater ) or could have been (Creator).
John ~ born September 5,1755 and died December 8,1803, married Elizabeth Hall
Elias ~ born in 1760 died in 1826 and married to Esther Weyerman November 7,1784 .
and finally our Jacob ~ who was born in October 1761, when his Father was 54 years of age! Jacob was married to Nancy Jacobs.
He died January 3,1824.
