PETROCHEMISTRY RESEARCH

 1- For the first time the alkylation of phenol and o-Cresol with Styrene-butadiene cooligomer  has been conducted and the main affecting parameters identified .The mathematic modeling of the processes have been worked out and the reaction rate equations derived.

2- New types of phonolic based protective coatings,with a high film-forming properties have  been prepared which may be used for metallic-surfaces and other substrates where the higher effectiveness is required. Synthesized materials have been tested in different corrosive media and the results obtained were quite satisfactory.

3-New sort of additives were synthesized to be used for the improvement of the characteristics of lubricating oils. These materials were prepared on the basis of ( a,b) Cyclohexyle Naphtols which we called as (D.A.C.N) Dimethyle-Aminomethyle Cyclohexyle Naphtols.

4-In our recent program  the main target has been the synthesis of an especial type of surface-coatings resistant against radiations mainly Radioactive radiations and Laser beams .The program is not terminated yet and we are in need of financial support.
