Map of ancient
Egypt
The ancient Egypt was divided into two parts the black land and the red
land. The black land was the fertile land around the Nile.
The Egyptians grew in this land some of their food and they traded the crops
for food and goods they couldn't produce. And the yearly flooding enriched the
soil and made it suitable for cultivation. But the red land was the barren
desert that separates Egypt from the other countries and protects it from its
enemies. This land was rich of resources under its ground like metals and
precious stones.
