Welcome to my website. Here mostly you'll find a portfollio of my leather armor work. I've been putting off making this website for years now. so now that im doing it you'll also find all sorts of other things around here. you may find links to little things ive written. links to short films im working on, my personal thoughts on this world, and things im looking to do in this great world of ours. Im an artist, my outlets are martial, leather, theatre, film, and realms of spirit. so these are the kinda things i'll be posting here.  Currently I'm studdying Theatre at UWM, I'm also studying traditional martial arts at the Futen Dojo with the hopes of someday being an instructor., making armor part time, hoping to get a minor in film, about to be active in the sca again, and hoping at some point to find time to date. ;)  enjoy my portfolio and ramblings, and Right now ths is an incomplete rough draft. eventualy the final will be at my other site www.scaarmor.com

Joseph, aka Akira
Here you'll find designs inspired by roman and greek armors. this style is where i began my first true leather work. (my first armor work was several wisby coats of plate. actualy someone out there may have my first one black/grey crap leather over white barrel plastic, with red leather over plastic spaulders with a leather wolf on them. i'd like to get it back if it still exists)
Designs inspired by the plate armors of the late middle ages and renaissance.
Armors based on those of the Samurai of fuedal Nippon.
This is my command center. it leads to pages about who I am, who are the folks that have influenced me, and whatever suits me. ;)
Armors of Legend. These designs mostly fantastical. while some of these are based in parade armors of the renaisance, they're mostly my imagination.
Heres some close ups of engravings i've done.
