Another Note from the Webmistress (August 21, 2002): Wow I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you again, especially to those people who have e-mailed me in the past week, many of whom had heartfelt desires to see me reverse my decision to close the page. I really do appreciate the support you guys have given me! Unfortunately though, I REALLY don't have the time anymore to work on the page. I live in North America, and it's ridiculously hard to get information here on Asian celebrities. The stuff on my site I had to get in Chinese (and that's not to say that my Chinese is great) and translate... It's really a very tedious process, and the fact that I kept on seeing my information used on other webpages infuriated me to the extent that I just don't want to put the effort into it anymore. It's not that I don't like Alec anymore (I have my copy of his latest CD, "The Real Thing," Wan Zhen De, and I fully intend on watching Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre when it comes out, despite the fact that I'm not expecting too much), it's really just that I don't have the time. Unfortunately, I can't really lead you to a better site like some have requested... The only one that I really liked in the past (Alec's Playground) closed last May. Sorry!

Note from the webmistress (August 13, 2002): Well, as you can see below, I haven't updated here in more than a year. It's amazing how fast time flies (apologies for the cliche)! I want to take a moment to formally announce the closure of Alec's Little Page, mostly to those people who incessantly e-mail me demanding to know why I haven't been updating. Quite frankly, I find myself much too busy to handle the tedious chore of updating... That, and, well... I find Alec not so exciting anymore (and no, all you die-hard fans, please don't send me hate mail). In all honesty, I think he's made a few not-so-great career moves, like deciding to take on the task of playing Zhang Wuji in the upcoming Taiwanese remake of Jin Yong's Heavenly Sword & Dragon Sabre.

Thank you for all the support I've gotten from the fans over the years, and to those of you who stole stuff from my site, shame on you! You know who you are, and I do too. Really, I've seen stuff that I wrote (that I took the effort to translate!), my HTML, formatting, etc. put directly on other pages, to the extent that their pages look IDENTICAL to mine. It's infuriating, but at least it won't happen anymore...

Anyway, my point is just that, in all likelihood, (though I will leave all the sections open) I will not be coming back here... Unless, of course, I decide one day in the future that I want to make another page on, oh say F4. I guess Meteor Garden is like the HZGG of its day! ^_^ Again, I digress... I will simply close with this: GOODBYE!
