I guess this site is just about me and my pathetic boring life. I saw this because I have the time to sit around and do this kind of crap. Actually I'm quite busy, but any excuse I can conjure up to avoid doing what I should be doing is all too easy.
It all started on Saturday October 6, 1973 when Michael and Sandra Catino gave birth to a 7lb-7oz meatball the world would later call Mikey. Although I am 32 years old, I still go by Mikey as my father has cornered the market on Michael and Mike. Some would call this immature, to them I say, "Yes, I agree".
I have lived my entire life in Shamokin, a small coal region town in Pennsylvania about an hour north of Harrisburg. I like to say that it's not the end of the world but you can see it from here. Some claim that if you throw the local newspaper in the air you can read it before it hits the ground. I have never tried it, I'm too busy making worthless websites.
I am currently employed as a teacher for the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit or the CSIU as it's commonly called. I teach physics and a little math at a maximum security state facility for adjudicated youths. It is technically called North Central Secure Treatment Unit or NCSTU. WRLOA (We Really Like Our Acronyms.) The facility is basically school and treatment for wayward kids as you must be convicted of a crime to be sent there. I will be honest and say I like working there. It is a teachers paradise. Small classes and a small student body combined with the feeling of actually helping troubled kids is awesome.
After I spent all this time on a web page everybody gets into blogs. So I'm getting my own blog and will have a link to it here in the near future. I now have a link, fast huh?
