Dog!

We went to the Washington Animal Rescue League and fell in love with the scraggly-looking mutt below.  Her slave name was Dana, but we renamed her Daisy after a family vote.

Very skittish at first.  When we got her, she had just weaned 7 huge lab puppies.  She had very wiry, sparse hair, and a stick for a tail.  Within a month she was a fluffy beauty.
