Nicholas Croteau baptized on February 1, 1677 at Sillery, Quebec and married November 11, 1709 in Beaupré, Quebec to Catherine Mesny, daughter of Etienne Mesny and Catherine Laîné. Vincent Croteau was baptized on March 29, 1644 in the paroisse de Saint-Martin de Veules-les-Roses in France. He was was married September 22, 1669 before the Notaire de Becquet, Quebec to Jeanne Godequin, daughter of Jacques Godequin and Jeanne Dupuis.
